I hate being alone at the airport and, what's even more worst, this is where I lost the one I loved most. My dad. I still remembered when he's all excited to get back to LA. But, he's one of the victim of the plane crash back in December. Every time this flashback came back, I almost, want to throw up. It makes anxious as fuck.
I'll start to overthink and I must admit, it's killing me inside.

"Win!" I waved at him. He gets all smiley, as his eyes doing the same thing."You're here with-

"Alone? Why?"

"Nothing, I was just worried." I grabbed his arm and, "Look, I'm fine... I can't wait for you to meet my mum. Come on, or else we'll be late!" Stop with whatever your thoughts are there. Win, basically one of the internet friend I met on Instagram. He was my tour guide when I had a vacation at Thailand. Having internet friends quite fun, don't ya think?

"So, your mum, can you tell me more about her?"

"Hmmm, she's lovely."

"Hayla! That, isn't going to help."

"For real, my mum, she's literally uh, cool? Of course, he's excited to meet you, win. And... This is our second time meeting each other. She's just curious, that's all." He sighed and pulled up his phone from the pocket.

"If you say so, okay."

Mum, is just mum. But, eversince dad no longer around, she starts become over protective. I totally understand it. Sometimes, it's just too much. I'm  used with it. Though, I hope she knows I'm an adult now and I get to do something by myself. "Here's mine. I'll get your back, kay?" He gives me 'seriously' look. "No, no, let me be a gentleman. I know you're host..."

"Okay, sir." He rolled his eyes at me. I know, he's annoyed with that nickname. "I'm not your boss, please." His sassy ass is back. He looks calmer now. Why does he need to be nervous? "I'll wait for you then."

He closed the bonet and pulled the luggage with him. "Shit, I kinda almost wanna shit in my pants." I pressed my lips together, trying not to laugh. He takes another deep breath. "Mum!" I said. She looks a bit suprised.

"Stop yelling at me like that, Hayla."

"Oops, sorry... Oh yeah, this is uh, Win." He's still looking down. Is he zoning out again? I nudged him in the arm and "Oh, hello, Mrs Hill. I'm Hayla's friend." She didn't say anything. She only raised, both of her eyebrows.

Then, look at me. She leans closer as she whispers, "This young man is the one you told me?" I slightly nod.

"Yeah..."

"Oh, sorry for that. Hello to you too... You don't have to call me that. Just call me, Jay. It is fine." He lets a small laugh. Is that a panic laugh, asking for a help? Or-

"Oh, okay... Urm, Jay?"

"Yes, yes, that's right, sweetheart. I let you get changed. Hayla, show him the guest room." She walks back to the kitchen. "Win, chill out."

"I can't..." I take a glance at his hands. It's literally shaking. I bet he's outgoing one once all his nervy wrecky stop acting. "Trust me, you and mum, will get along later..." I get back to my room. I know mum is still waiting for him to be back. I missed him more than words cam describe.

"Mum?" She walks towards me and, sit next to me. "Hayla, have you heard any news about him?" I shook my head. "He's, he's probably gone, mum. I don't think he's still alive..." She takes my hand and hold it, while squeezing it. "Hayla, I know, you're starting to lose hope. But, as a mum, I know he's still here, alive and breathing. Agent Cooper just came by, an hour ago. He's going to be here next Monday... I'll be here, sweetie. Anytime you need me, okay?"

"Thanks, mum."

"No worries,my little daughter."
