It was the first day back at school after summer break tomorrow and as Crystal, Lux, Daya and Daegen sat around Crystal's living room, Heathers playing in the background, they discussed how unprepared they were to go back.

Lux: "Can't we just all homeschool together for the next year?"
Daya: "Why are you so stressed, you're basically safe from the 'PPB's' because of Tiff anyway!"

It was true, the 'PPB's', otherwise known as the pretty popular bitches, didn't bully Lux often because they were friends with her girlfriend.

Lux: "It doesn't matter, i still hate school with a passion!"
Daegen: "Can you shut up i'm trying to watch Heathers thank you!"
Crystal: "You realise that we won't even finish the film before you guys have to leave. And no matter how much we all complain, we have to go to school tomorrow so i'm going to at least get some beauty sleep tonight!"
Daegen: "Like that's going to work!"

Crystal threw a pillow at Daegen before switching off the tv causing the girls to suddenly complain and start a pillow fight.

Daya: "Ouch bitch that was my earring! Are you trying to rip my ear off!"
Crystal: "Why do i always invite you weirdos over, you're so annoying!"
Lux: "Because you love us more than anyone else!"
Crystal: "You may be my best and well- only friends but i'll always love Tiktac most!"

Tiktac, perfectly on cue, strutted into the room with their tail in the air, hopping into Crystal's lap causing everyone to laugh. Tiktac was Crystal's pride and joy, they were a ginger cat who owned the house and controlled every room because they were clearly better than the humans!

Crystal: "awe see they are so much nicer to me than you all!"
Daya: "Crystal are you seriously still bringing your cat up as non-binary!"
Crystal: "Um yes of course i am, what else am i supposed to do?"

Crystal had replied in such a serious and concerned tone as she questioned if she was bringing Tiktac up wrong, causing Daya to roll her eyes and the other girls to laugh. By the time Crystal had finished ranting about Tiktac and cat rights, the other girls had already packed up their things ready to leave.

Daegen: "Bye Crys have fun with Tiktac, see you tomorrow!"
Crystal: "Oh okay see you tomorrow!"

Within minutes, the girls were gone and Crystal headed up to her bedroom with Tiktac. After getting changed into pyjamas, she laid on her bed and began scrolling though instagram. She skipped through stories after stories of 'back to school' posts, confused as they technically weren't even back to school yet until she miss clicked. *Omg no* she thought to herself as she accidentally clicked the lowest option on a stupid slide bar story.
