Gino's POV

I was sitting there on my bed scrolling pictures through my Instagram. I stood up and took a shower then got ready for dance.

Something feels a little off today.

It's 5:45pm by the way; dance starts at 6. I go to the Candy Apples Dance Center, I'm recently on the competition team but I don't feel proud about it. I'm just there because the producers wouldn't let me go. Now, the real reason I want to leave it's because of Maddie, she goes to ALDC, she is the best there. I don't have a chance but I still like to try and at least be friends.

I opened my dad's car door and sat on the passenger's. I plugged my headphones to my phone and played Pandora. After a few songs 'chandelier' was on, as soon as I heard the dance Maddie came into my mind, her blue eyes her long brown hair her smile, she is just perfect.

My dad pulled up at the CADC parking lot after a few songs. I walked out of the car with a smile just because the producers told me so. I waited for Cathy and then she did her apple pyramid like she calls it. I was one spot away of the top, Zack is on top. I didn't really care I was just wondering how Maddie is doing. I came back to reality because Cathy was calling me "Gino? Hello" She waved her hand. Everyone is staring. "Hmm?" I say. "Did you heard what I said?" She walked towards me. "No, sorry" I put my hands in my red CADC jacket. "I said you will be having a solo" She cleared "against Maddie".

It was hard to swallow those words. "What?" Is the only thing that came out of my mind. "Is there a problem?" Cathy raised her eyebrow. I looked at my dad and then shake my head "no".

"Good" She cheered.
