Maddie's Pov

"You have to move on Mads you're better than this he kicked you out" Kendall rubbed my back as I went on  my temples.

I sat on my bed crying my eyes out. I thought love was supposed to be a beautiful thing.

"Has he called, texted or visit you? No he does not care, he's not chasing you"
"I can't" I cried.

"Maddie please!" Kendall exclaimed jumping up on her feet. "I can't keep up with you, we have days 'till school actually ends and much more important boot camp"

"You think I'm up for any of those?"

"Maddie" She gasped. "Are you even my best friend? Who are you and what you did to my best friend?"

I shrugged. "Maybe I don't want to be her"

"Call me when you find her" She ran out of my room slamming the door behind her.

My phone rang a few minutes later. I walked to the night stand and answered it.

"Maddie this is Kalani" A cheerfully voice echoed my head.

"Okay..."

"I got your number from Abby, I was wondering if you could show me how to do a triple pencil turn? I know you're really good at it"

"Look Kalan-"

"I know you probably are not in the best mood I can tell by your voice but please?"

How can I say no?

I'm so bad at being a bad person.

"Sure, where are you?" I sat on my bed pressing the phone to my ear.

"I'm at my house" I sighed and wiped a tear.

"Okay, I'll be there in ten" She said and ended the call.

I stood up and stared at my reflection. My eyes are surrounded by blackness my face looks tired, my hair is a complete mess and I don't remember the last time I took a shower.

I watched my eyes for a long time.

"You don't deserve that" I shook my head mumbling.

"You can do so much better" I smiled to myself.

Ew, when was the last time I brushed my teeth?

I clicked my phones's home button it's 4:35pm.

I ran to the bathroom and took a quick shower, I brushed my teeth and came out with my body wrapped in a towel.

I picked a black dance short from Capezio and a baby blue crop top. I fixed my hair up to a perfect ballet bun. I applied light make up to my face and red lipstick.

I smiled at my reflection and placed a matching bow on the side of my bun.

I grabbed my phone and ran downstairs.

"You're looking different" Mackenzie frowned.

"I'm happy" I winked at her walking pass her to the front of the house.

"Weird" I heard her say after me.

I shook my head laughing as I opened the door.

In about 3 minutes Kalani showed up.

"Hello" She cheered with a huge smile.

"Hi!" I opened my arms and gave her a tight hug.

"You sound different" She chuckled frowning her face as I let go of the hug.
