Graces POV
My alarm buzzed continuously and my head pounded, ugh first day back I want the summer to continue please. I rolled out of my queen sized bed and silenced my alarm finally, rubbing my blurry eyes. I buttoned the top buttons on my silk pyjamas set and sorted my hair out ready for breakfast. I don't understand why though it's not like my parents are here or anything, before you think they are dead poor Grace- no they just are never here.
My mom works with Eleanor Waldorf my best friend Blair's mom daily and my dad is always away on business trip's- he hardly comes back. I walked into the spacious dinning room in our apartment and the maid Darya was setting the table for me, she is kind of like a mother to me in a weird way. "Miss Grace what would you like for breakfast?" Darya asked me in her strong Russian accent.
"Just a fruit salad please and a glass of Orange Juice." I asked her kindly, "Coming up miss Grace." Just then my phone buzzed- I suppose I should answer it could be Blair. I started eating my fruit salad as I checked my message.
Hi G missed you meet me at the steps soon xo-B
Hey B course I can, could it be about you and Nate? Just off to get a Starbuck in a second want anything? Xo-G
Yes you know my order. It is yes G I need your advice. See you at the steps xo-B
I went to my room and got dressed in a pencil skirt that showed the right amount of my legs, a white blouse, a black silk tie and some black pumps. I applied natural makeup and put my hair up in a bun. I took some painkillers before I left this hangover is dreadful. "Your driver is outside miss Grace." Darya told me smiling. I responded with a thankyou and told my driver to take me to Starbucks.
I grabbed my bag and stepped inside to see him, why him? Chuck Bass the womaniser of the century who has most likely slept with nearly everyone at Constance school. "What is the pleasure of seeing you Grace?" He asked smirking. "Don't go there you womanising Basshole!" I hissed. "I can show you a hole if you like." He growled licking his lips. I stomped on his foot, "Feisty little one Intriguing." He winced in my ear.
"Get over yourself." I said rolling my eyes and placing my order. I grabbed my caramel frappe and B's order as I walked out the shop I felt Chuck's eyes lingering on me. "Eyes up Bass!" I shouted at him and I saw his driver drive him away. "School please driver." I asked nicely. "Yes Miss Andrews."
I arrived at Constance our school, I saw Blair sitting on the famous steps and I joined her passing her the Starbucks I got her, "Thanks G." She said hugging me. "So B what was you wanting to talk to me about with you and Nate?" I asked as she shooed her minions down a few steps. I don't know why I asked to be honest I know what it will be- she wants to lose her virginity to Nate. I am a party girl so I lost it a good three years ago with my old ex boyfriend Carter Baizen.
"G I just really want to make it special you know and Nate is the perfect guy." Blair said, I could tell it was important to her but Nate seemed to not be as in love with Blair as she is with him. "He is B yeah, it will be special either way don't force yourself or pressurise yourself." I said as if I were a saint. I looked over and saw Nate and Chuck smoking joints, I wish I didn't hate Chuck then I could get one off the devil himself.
Everyone's phone pinged which could mean only one thing- Gossip girl. I flipped my phone open to see a few blasts pop up:
Hey Upper East Siders, as a new school year begins the more the gossip will be spilt. Spotted: Serena Van Der Woodsen is back in town after a year away at boarding school. Looks like it will be an unwelcome start to the school year from B and G. You know you love me and more to come soon XOXO GOSSIP GIRL
Serena is back? Why wouldn't she call or text me or B? "Hey so I guess Serena is coming back." Said Nate as him and Chuck walked up to us. I rolled my eyes at Chuck standing there. "Yea I guess she is..." I said wondering why she wouldn't tell anyone she was back. "This will be fun." Chuck smirked. "Oh I bet another girl to hit on huh Bass." I said rolling my eyes again.
"Aww someone jealous?" He asked, "Because we can fix that..." He whispered in my ear. "Want to be kicked or stomped on again." I hissed. Just then Serena walked through the gates, "Blair, Grace!" She shouted running up to us both hugging us. "Serena you're back." Blair fake smiled. "Yea we missed you." I said knowing soon enough they will fight I am not sure how I feel about S being back yet.
I looked over at Nate and then Chuck, they both know something. I blocked the thought out for now and walked off to go to my locker, I looked back and felt Chuck's eyes staring at my legs and Butt. "Oi Bass if you want to keep staring can you do it at someone else!" I shouted across to him. He seemed not phased and followed me which is what I needed. "Figured you would follow me Bass we need to chat." I said.
"Look if you want me it can happen but I am not a great fan of it being near lockers, hurts my back in the wrong way..." He said leaning against me smirking. I am all for partying, drugs whatever but really Chuck you are out of your mind. I kicked him in the shin and smirked, "That a good enough answer for you?" I said as he rubbed his shin.
"I am all for you feisty and I like games so how would I know." He whispered his breath trailing on me neck. "Aren't we all Bass, aren't we all..." I whispered cutely back causing him to blush slightly, I sniggered. "You good there Bass?" I smirked. "Yes I am fine!" His jaw clenched. "Do you know something Blair and I don't?" I asked. "I wouldn't tell you now would I." He said walking off- I sighed.
I went into my class and I saw Chuck sat behind me, "Are you stalking me or something?" I snapped, he chuckled "No I switched classes because of the hot blondes and brunettes in here." I rolled my eyes, "If you distract me I swear!" I hissed. "Calm down feisty." He winked.
Fast forward to lunch the past few classes have been so annoying, I had Chuck in my ear for two and Serena and Nate in another. I need to find out what is going on before Blair and so I can help her. I walked to the steps with her and had my yogurt, her minions in front of us. We were all talking about the newest Louis Vuitton items out when a blonde figure stepped forward.
Blair and I glared at her, "Want something little freshman?" Blair asked as I giggled still glaring. "I urm just came to say hi." She mumbled. No one says hi to us- we say hi to you. "Well you said hi you can go bye now." I said glaring. "I just wondered if you needed help with anything. " She spoke quietly.
"N-" I start to say but B cuts me off. "Yes you can do the invites for the kiss on the lips party." Blair said smirking. "I'm Jenny by the way." She spoke smiling and walking away. "Little J you will be very useful after all." I said as B and I smirked. I saw Chuck and Nate having a cigarette- I could use one. "Be back in a second girls." I spoke walking towards them. "Nathaniel may I have one of those." I asked whilst glaring and ignoring Chuck's presence. "Sorry they are Chuck's." Nate said. I walked off ignoring his presence again and looked for Serena.
I couldn't find her until my phone buzzed.
Spotted: S and Lonely Boy getting friendly, is there a new couple on the horizon. And are Grace and Chuck frenemies or more? Why is G and S giving Nate a hard time. Time will tell, you know you love me XOXO GOSSIP GIRL
