"Mr Bass I have a suspicious item for you to inspect..." A girl said down the phone. "Well Miss..." Chuck said down the phone. "Miss Katrina..." The girl replied a thick Russian accent. "Sorry Miss Katrina but I am busy." Chuck sighed.
Grace's POV
"What could be more important than an appointment with the woman you love... unless you have business to deal with?" I asked him. "I have a meeting." He replied. "With Mr Duris?" I asked excitedly. "Princess I wasn't able to get a meeting with him." Chuck informed me. "Sorry maybe you must be in a hospital because you wouldn't do something to cost me my future!" I shouted down the phone.
"I promise you will meet him at the Ambassador dinner." He assured me. I looked over the coffee table to find the locket missing but lots of information on it, "So why did you miss the meeting?" I asked him sipping my coffee. "I am trying to meet someone with an unpredictable schedule." Chuck replied hanging up.
Chuck's POV
"Have you seen an Elizabeth Fisher return?" I asked the hotel doorman I need to know what's happening. "Yes sir." The doorman responded. "Why didn't she get my message? Why not?" I asked angry. "Mr Bass she did but she checked out straight afterwards."
"Hello Serena what is the pleasure?" Damien asked the irritated blonde. "Will you be the date to the French Ambassador party?" Serena asked rather annoyed with Nate trying to slow things down as if she weren't good enough. "Yes of course, I will see you there." Damien smiled. He always found a fascination in Serena ever since boarding school, he was meant to go with Jenny but he didn't care about her.
She was just his mule, and soon he will only want one thing from her... sex... and lots and lots of it.
Chuck seemed clearly too busy with this random woman to introduce me and talk me up. This random woman knows nothing! Ever thought she was a random one night stand who loved him!?
