Grace's POV //A week later// I wasn't feeling brilliant this week, I am pretending to be back with Rick. I was getting ready for Constance to talk to Blair about Serena and I saw my mom. "Hi mom do you need any help after school?" I asked her, we are both trying to make an effort for each other.
"Darling that would be lovely! I think Eleanor is trying to get Blair to invite Poppy Lifton Serena's friend do you know anything about that?" She asked me. "Blair and Serena aren't friends mom, I am trying to stay friends with them both so I can't do much. I think Blair is coming to see you and Eleanor after school maybe I could bring it up for you." I said grabbing some coffee.
"Thanks, how is it going with Rick?" She asked me while getting some scrabbled eggs and bacon off Darya. "Uh to be honest mom I don't like him..." I said messing with my food on the plate. "So you are using him to make Chuck jealous." She said. "Maybe, he hurt me mom..." I said trying not to cry. She came up to me and hugged me.
"I'm here for you Grace, I am sorry I have been so selfish these past few years I just thought if I worked I could give you a good life. What Chuck did was horrible, maybe he was scared but he did seem to care." She said wiping my ears. "Now come on you don't want to ruin your makeup." She said which made me laugh.
"Thanks mom, I will see you later. Have you spoken to dad?" I asked her going to my room and putting my bag on. "No I don't want to speak to him til he signs the papers and sends them to me." She said. "I will see you over near the runway." I said posing and walking down and a few tears fell.
I leant against the wall and noticed Chuck walking this way, "Please I am not in the mood right now ok?" I said sniffling. "I was just going to ask if you were ok..." He said walking up to me and lifting my chin. "What do you think?" I said wiping my eyes. "Talk to me." He said looking at me. "My parents are getting a divorce and you had to go and plan that Serena and Blair would argue didn't you!" I snapped.
"Why is this all my fault? I am not Amanda..." He said looking at me as we walked for once. "You paid her! I know you did. You wanted me in your arms again." I snapped. "How can you prove it though..." He whispered as we arrived at school.
"Rick?!" I shouted running up to him. "Hi Grace!" He said smiling and we kissed. "What are you doing here? I have missed you!" I said smiling. "I thought I would come visit you for the day." He said smiling. "I am glad you did that! I said smiling whilst Chuck glared. "You can show me all around Constance." He said smiling.
