Chapter - 13

The director of IVY was the pawn of Sheila Khaneja but because of the humiliation he faced in front of his employees he wanted to get back at Priya Sharma. He called Yogesh, one of Ram's team member for a secret meeting. They both stood out in one of the balconies of the large building.

"So I got the report that you are handling the reporters for the event?" Yogesh had his head bowed down, unable to meet the Director's eyes he simply nodded.

"Great... After Ram stepped up like that in front of the entire office it will be very difficult to get rid of Ms. Sharma. So, " he handed him a card "I want you to add him to the list of invited reporters"

"Yes Sir" Yogesh simply nodded.

"We'll make Ms. Sharma explain herself in front of all the important figures. Let's see how refined she explains herself about playing around with her new employee. Invite all the major shareholders and gather them around too"

Yogesh cleared his throat "But doesn't Madam Khaneja want Sudhir Sharma to step up for the Presidential campaign. Won't this harm his reputation?"

Director starred at him "You are frustrating, Yogesh. What does Sudhir Sharma's future have to do with you and me? All we have to care about is a new CEO for IVY Hotel. Who cares if Madam Khaneja receives support from Sudhir Sharma or not. They live in different world. We have to think about ourselves. "

"I understand sir"

"Ms. Sharma needs to come down as CEO for me to live and for you to receive a promotion. Understood?"

Yogesh smirked and nodded.

"But be careful, if Sheila Khaneja finds out about this plan, we are doomed."

"I will be careful" saying this Yogesh left his side and entered inside the building.

Priya was in her car when she received a text from Ram.

"I told you you'd look prettier than the model."

Priya smiled reading the text. Amidst the chaos Ram had noticed her lipstick but before she could reply him Deepak informed her that they were at their destination. 

Priya had come for a meeting with the architect for their ongoing Cuba project. The architect who was doing the renovations suggested her that they needed to remove the garden that is in the middle of the building but Priya refused, asked them to leave the garden untouched. She believed that the essence of the hotel will be that garden and that one would be able to feel the value of the time through it. They halfheartedly agreed and promised to leave the garden as it is. 

With a happy heart Priya left the meeting. On her way back, she stopped to pick up something at her family tailor's. While she was there she noticed a new collection of neck tie. 

"We have a new line of neckties" the tailor informed her while she looked through the collection. 

"I like the colours" Priya replied her eyes not leaving the ties. 

"Shall I recommend you one for Mr. Sharma?" the tailor asked enthusiastically. Priya stopped and looked at the tailor. She meant to buy the tie for Ram and not for her father but because he was their family tailor and words could reach her mother she decided to pack two tie, just in case. 

She selected two tie, one for her father and one for Ram. As she was waiting to get it gift wrapped, she heard Kunal's voice behind her. 

"I wanted to wear this suit in the weekend but was afraid that it might not arrive in time" he said talking to the other tailor in the same room.
