-Ashton's POV-
I take Aria by the hand and pull her into the kitchen quietly. Nobody can hear this yet, especially not Luke, until I'm sure about this.
"What's up Ash?" Aria asks me, taking a piece of fallen hair and pushing it back behind her ear gently, just to let it fall again.
"I think I might have feelings for you." I blurt, but quietly so that nobody hears us. She lets out a deep breath.
"Ashton I don't know what to say, Luke doesn't trust you at all with me. I guess if we could go slowly then he might warm up to the idea of us, possibly, but we can't just rush into a relationship if that's where you're heading." My head drops as I hear the words.
"I'm not finished yet. I think that I'm catching feelings for you too, but I'm still getting better, and one heartbreak is all it would take to break me again." She tells me, taking my hand and letting it drop.
"I get it, don't worry. I was stupid to think that we could be together." I say, stalking out of the room.
-Aria's POV-
"Ashton wait!" I shout as he power walks back upstairs, refusing to turn around. I can't believe that I let myself catch feelings for this boy. I'm so stupid! How could I think that a boy who hurt me so much could be good to me? I quickly run to my room, pulling on some black skinny jeans and a green day tee shirt and my coat and boots, walking out of the house with just the contents of my purse and pockets.
-------
-Luke's POV-
"Ash, where's Aria?" I ask my friend, who hasn't said a word to anyone since he came upstairs. He sits and eats his Vegemite toast in complete silence.
"Ashton." I say threateningly, grabbing the food from his hands.
"I don't know okay!" He yells. Everybody turns around and stares at him in shock. Ashton Irwin never yells at his friends. The girl, Alyson, seems afraid.
"Sorry." Ashton mumbles.
"What happened Ash? One minute you were fine and then you came upstairs and you've barely even spoken a word." Cal says, moving closer to the boy.
"Luke, I'm catching feelings for your sister." Ashton says, his eyes not meeting mine.
"That's fine Ash, I could never hold it against you for having feelings for somebody. The heart wants what it wants bro." I say, laughing.
"She's gone guys." Michael says as he walks into the room. I hadn't even realized he left.
"What do you mean, gone?" I ask the purple haired boy.
"I called down on the intercom and the woman told me that she left." He says, looking worried.
"We have to find her!" I yell, grabbing my coat from the floor and pulling on my vans. The other boys and girl do the same and we all pile into two cars, Ash and I in mine, Cal and Mikey in the other. Alyson stays in the apartment so that if Aria comes back she can tell us.
"Call her." I tell Ashton. He dials her number on his phone and it goes straight to voicemail. She's either not picking up or her phone is dead, one or the other.
-------
-Aria's POV-
I drive ten over the limit in the light rain, watching as headlights flash in my eyes.
You shouldn't be doing this, I think to myself. It's dangerous.
Fuck it, I think back, nobody cares for me anyway.
Just as I finish thinking, I start hydro planing.
What do I do? I think in a yelling voice. My thoughs are answered by a loud crashing noise, and darkness.
-------
"Ash that's her car!" I shout as I see the wreck in the ditch. The car is overturned but I can still clearly see her license plate. Why does this always happen to her? I'd take her spot any day to save her.
I jump out of the car as soon as Ashton pulls over and I hop into the ditch carefully. She's passed out, I think.
Or dead. A quiet voice says in the back of my head.
I can't get to her though, her doors are locked. I look at her to see if I can see her chest rising and falling. Luckily, it is. She's bloodied and bruised, covered in cuts and scratches from broken glass. I can see that her leg and her arm are both rather swollen.
Oh no, I think as the ambulances arrive, carrying her away.
