SIMONE'S POV

We drove to In-n-Out in a comfortable silence. Or maybe it was only me. From the corner of my eye, I could see Mason's hands clench against his staring wheel just for a second before it unclenched but I just shrugged it off

We got to the drive thru and I placed my order

"What would you like to eat?" Asked the voice through the speaker

"Can I just have a chocolate milkshake" Mason asked

"Of course. Is there anything else?" 

"Yeah I would like a hamburger and a milkshake" I ordered

"Okay, so that's it right?" the speaker guy asked

 I know Mason is acting like he isn't hungry but I'm still going to get some fries and act like it's for me until we get home so he can't refuse it here

"Can I also have some medium fries with it?"

"Yeah sure"

Mason then turned to me with a frown "Why would you still want some fries?" He asked before breathing out "you know what? never mind" he finished and drove to the pay point with a ten out of ten poker face on

Now, I feel like I did something wrong which I obviously did not but it seems he's been in a bad mood since we left the mall. Oh! I think I know what happen. It's obviously something that happened when we went to separate aisles and he had to leave the mall quickly  for some odd reason. 

Yep that's the only possible thing that could have happened. Maybe we should talk it out

"Mason, is something wrong?" I asked in hope for a normal reply

"Pfft. What could ever give you that idea?" he brushed off with the same poker face. 

Oh my God, I hate that face so much!

"Okay, if you say so" I shrugged it off like I didn't feel like ripping off the poker of his face so it can just be left with face

After we collected our food, we drove home and set our groceries in the fridge

I took a warm shower and  went to the dining area to eat

A burger and milk shake later, I turned on my phone to see a text from my mum

Mum: Hey Sim. Aunt Morgan said I should ask if you could tutor the twins for some money

Me: Tell her not to worry, she doesn't have to pay since it's just tutoring. Are they coming over or I'm going to aunt Morgan's?

Mum: She insists you should get paid. It's not just tutoring. They'll be at your place for some time but not too long 

Mum: Oh, they're already on their way. Ps: Yesterday, Aunt Morgan told me to ask but I kinda forgot and she came back for confirmation today and I told her you agreed

I just rolled my eyes at the text. My mum works a lot-which is not necessary-so I understand that she forgot

Me: Smh, I'll be looking forward to their arrival

So, that's a lie because I definitely would NOT be looking forward to their arrival. Plus, I don't really enjoy saying no to my mum except it's a really, really bad situation. Those times, my emotions don't play any role in my choices

The reason why I can't be looking forward to their arrival is because Madison is brainy and Allison is  cunning. They look innocent but they are far from it. They always play pranks and they can be very rude. I'm pretty sure they don't need any tutoring, Our parents just want a day or two away from them..I hope it's not more
