i only meet you in my dreams
my paradise when i fall sleep
i know you'll be there
on clouds of nine
counting endless sheep.
within the misty endeavors of my dreams.
an impossible reality.
id stay here for eternity.
if i could.
you wouldn't think
a fantasy take priority
but it would.
if lifespans were cut shorter
id water more crops
and flourish this garden of hope.
we'd spend hours under vibrant stars
singing sweet lullabies,
spewing heavenly tropes.
we'd ride clouded dragons
over sweet cliches.
our hearts for swords
to clear away the pulling weeds that want to wake me from my sleep.
though time is steadily ticking,
we grasp on to loose bondage.
its a tough fight we're picking.
although every fantasy surely must come to an end,
we'll resume our love when i fall again.
