16.|Stiles' Fate"𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐌𝐄! 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐒!" Derek all but lost his mind at that statement, eyes wide at the demigod in front of him. "How?!" Stiles would've flinched at the alpha's growl had he been human or around the pack. But him being him, he merely sat up straight with a brow raised at the man.
"Don't you alpha growl at me." Derek huffed, walking past Stiles and up the staircase to the boy's bedroom where he threw himself on the bed. Stiles smiled at the man, and followed him up the stairs blindly. He took a seat on the other side of the bed closest to the bedroom door."I'm sorry."
Stiles laughed, "I know."The two sat in silence for a few minutes before Stiles decided to speak up. "She told me she's been having a premonition. About a man in a leather jacket wielding a sword surrounded by blue flames." Derek stared shocked at the demigod, knowing it had to be him in this dream. "There's something else too... In this dream... I'm in a battle... And we both lose."
"What does that even mean?"
"It means... She told me you were crying over a dead body... You were holding the man that wielded the sword... After he stabbed another man who was also stabbed at the same time."
Derek sat up straight in the bed, pulling his legs onto the mattress to position himself even closer to the demigod.
"Y-You- You die?"
Stiles sighed, trying to pull away from the alpha that grabbed his chin to keep him still.
"I- Yes. In her dream... I die."
Derek shook his head, and before he knew it, he was straddling Stiles' hips holding him in place below him on the bed.
"No." Derek meant for it to come out in his normal human voice, but instead the simple word came out as a growl from deep within his chest.
"Der..."
Stiles reached up to cup the alpha's cheek, eyes daring to mix with Derek's in a battle to come.
"I won't let that happen!" Stiles breathlessly laughed.
"It's already set into place Der... There is nothing we can do. Fate is cruel. Always has been." Derek growled, or at least tried to, but it came out more as a whine than anything. He buried his head into the demigod's neck, taking in his scent while giving off his own to calm himself.
"I won't accept that." Stiles pulled at Derek's body until he was able to look into those honey brown eyes he loved so much. "Derek-" The alpha puffed out his chest with a stern look on his face."No! No, Stiles. I will not let you die. I can't let the boy I lo-"
Derek stopped abruptly halfway through his sentence, shock stilled on his face as he hurriedly got up from the bed, leaving the demigod there by himself. Stiles laid there with the same shocked expression.
When Derek was halfway out the room with his shoes and jacket in his hands he felt a pull on his body. He couldn't move forward nor backward. He was literally frozen in place."Say it."
Derek gasped from the desperation in Stiles' voice. The amount of underlying pain made Derek's heart feel like it would explode.
"I- I- I can't."
Stiles had never used to abilities for personal use. And he never thought he'd be using them on Derek. He slowly turned the alpha around with a near deadly expression plastered on his face, "Say it."
Derek felt himself settle in his spot, an indication he wasn't under whatever magic Stiles was using on him.
He couldn't even be mad at the demigod for using it against his will. He would've done the same thing had it been him."I love... you."
Stiles couldn't have been more ecstatic. He didn't entirely feel the same as Derek, but he knew he was close to loving the alpha back. He's realized more and more in the past few days that he has always had feelings for the alpha. There were many moments when he looked to him for protection, comfort, and guidance.
"I don't love you..." Derek's eyes visibly teared up as Stiles stepped forward until he was inches away from his face. "Yet."
"Wh-What?"
Stiles cupped the alpha's cheek, his other arm wrapping around his waist to pull him closer. "I'm almost there. But if I say it now I'll be lying... And I don't want to lie to you Derek Hale."
The alpha breathlessly laughed, his arms automatically wrapping around the demigod's waist. "You scared me. Don't. Do. That. Again."Stiles pecked his alpha's lips, hoping to turn it into more. Before they knew it Derek had thrown Stiles onto the bed, the springs in the mattress making noises as he bounced on it. The demigod wiggled his eyebrows as he saluted the alpha, "Yes sir."
The alpha werewolf began to remove the demigod's clothes, trying not to rip them as he just knew they were his favorite pieces. They were both lost in their own world. Clothes flying, their breaths growing heavier the more they moved as one. Stiles flipped Derek over, now on top of the alpha, smirking as he groaned from where Stiles grinded against him."Hey Stiles are you hom-"
The half naked men both pulled away startled at the sudden entrance of Noah Stilinski in the doorway, his eyes wide as saucers at the scene in front of him.
Stiles face palmed, hurrying to get up from his bed leaving Derek on his own half naked and a bright red mess."Noah. Hey. Didn't know you'd be home..."
"Didn't know you'd be home either. You were just here earlier. I honestly didn't expect you back for a few days at least." Stiles looked away from Noah sheepishly, scratching the back of his head with a shrug. "Well, surprise." Noah shook his head, waving at Derek and then looked back at his son.
"I'm sure the alpha over there has a loft that you two can... play on that isn't where your father can walk in at any moment?" Stiles laughed loudly. "Yes dad, there is. We got caught up in the moment, you know?" Noah only nodded and left the doorway with a sigh. "Damn kid... gonna give me a heart attack one of these days...""Then we'll be leaving now!" Stiles called after his dad. Noah waved him off as he closed his bedroom door behind him. Now that Noah had left the room, Stiles turned to the alpha, a smirk plastered across his lips.
"Let's get out of here."
