Was it love..
When you would take the mickey out of me and I would laugh along with you?
Was it love..
When I would proceed to say something but it would come out through your lips instead?
Was it love..
When you would understand what's in my heart, purely by glancing into my eyes?
Was it love..
When you went out of your way to protect me..to make sure I didn't cry more than I already had?
Was it love..
It might have been.
But not the usual kind.
Maybe this is what is called selfless love..
Alright, so I wrote this on 29 July 2020. Well, I know who this had been written for and now, I can't relate to it anymore. So yeah, shit happens..life takes a turn, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse..
