"Yes Jojo I'm almost home," I say on the phone. Making sure to look for paparazzi I hang up the phone. There were three of them. I duck into an alley and put on my sweatshirt before continuing to go home. I go around to the backyard and open the back door. My parents don't let me come in through the front.
"Mum I'm home!" I shout as I come in. "Did anyone see you come in?" She asked. "Gee happy to see you too," I roll my eyes. "This is serious Shaylee I cant have people knowing that I have a screw up like you for a daughter," Mum said. "Yea I know you've been saying that since I was two," I tell her. "It's important," she argued. "But I'm obviously not," I point out. "It's not like-" "Stay in the attic Shaylee. Don't tell them your last name Shaylee. You're a disgrace to the whole Holland family Shaylee. Why can't you be more like your brothers Shaylee?!" I rant.
All I got from my rant was a punch in the gut and getting thrown into the wall. "Listen here you ungrateful bitch, you're lucky we even let you stay in this house!" Mum yelled. "Shut the fuck up mum we both know the only reason I'm in this house is because Dr. Henderson threatened time tell the tabloids if you put me up for adoption," I say letting the bitter truth roll off my tongue.
"Shay! We have a problem," Paddy said coming down to just in time to see mum punching me in the face. "Mum let go of her! If you don't stop someone's gonna find out," Paddy said. When Mum stopped hitting me Paddy helped me up. "What's the problem?" Mum asked Paddy. "It's bad," I say. "Did I ask you to talk Shaylee?" Mum asked. I shook my head. Don't say anything stupid just remember in about 8 years you'll be able to move out. 8 years 8 years 8 years.
"Shaylee's fans are shipping me and Shaylee," Paddy says. "That's not big Shaylee only has like what 8," Mum said. I roll my eyes. "Actually it's more like about 2 million," I say shyly. "Who said you were allowed that many fans what if they find out things," Mum said. "Look I'm a model ok they see me on magazines and follow me," I say.
"You know if we tell them we can solve this," Paddy said. "Absolutely not, Paddy you're not allowed to follow her on social media anymore," Mum said. "Why can't I just tell the world I'm a Holland?" I ask. "Shaylee you can't be a Holland you'll ruin our image," Harry said. "Yea you're a screw up not a Holland," Sam said. "She's not a screw up she's my twin," Paddy said. We would've kept arguing but the doorbell rang. "That's Zendaya we're working on lines," Tom said. "Shaylee get in the Attic," Mum yelled.
"No I wanna meet Zendaya," I say. "Shaylee I'm not opening this door until you get your arse in the attic," Tom shouted. "Then the door won't open," I say. "You have three seconds to go to the attic before I force you there myself," Mum glared. I run up the stairs. Then the door opens. "What took so long to open the door?" Zendaya asked. "Oh nothing Paddy was keeping me," Tom lies.
When I get to the attic I sit on my bed. The attic is my bedroom, which is basically a glorified attic. I decided to just cut my sorrows short and go to sleep. I can ponder the importance of my life tomorrow.
