Chapter Seven

I was sitting on the bed in the doctors office squeezing Jason hand waiting for the doctor he gave me a reassuring smile. After this past month of no drinking he's been so supportive and we are both becoming excited.

The doctor enter questioning , " So Miss Chalmers what is you out look on the test what do you what the results to be"

" Honestly positive." I answered blushing

" Well Miss.Chalmers you've gotten you wish congratulations. "

" Thanks doc now I believe its time for me to leave we have a dinner to make with his parents ." I said pulling Jason to the car. I jumped in putting my seatbelt on smiling. " Come on lets go plus. want some icecream an I know there's some in your freezer."

" Okay calm down babe we're going." he said getting in. The ride there always takes forever because they live on the outskirts of town but finally after thirty minutes we arrived. I jumped out the car an ran into the kitchen grabbing the rocky road icecream and a spoon.

" Hi Maya I'm so glad you could make the dinner." Jason's mom said laughing as I began eating the icecream

" Yeah I am too Mrs.Smith tonight should be great how much linger till dinner anyway? " I asked.

" Well thirty minutes I'm not cooking tonight its more of a pizza movie night." she replied smiling

" That's great me and the baby will love it." I let out before thinking.

" Maya your pregnant ?"

" Well um yes I am we were going to tell you after dinner I just can't hold it in anymore ugh Jason is going to kill me an I know it." I said looking down at my feet.

" Oh good I thought you were getting kinda fat. I'm sorry to say it but you are showing how far along are you anyway?" she asked.

" A month and I am oh crap this can't be good." I let out I can't be showing by now.

" It will be fine we're here for you had you mom even noticed you absence at home?"

" No she hasn't."

" Good then she can't mind me future daughter in law and grand baby living here." she said hugging me I just smiled

" Thanks this means a lot."

" Don't think I don't know what goes on there I've wanted you here in this house forever to be honest."

" An now you get your wish."

" So this is why you're with my brother ha now I get it." Adam said

" No I'm with him because he doesn't cheat he actually cares an is there for me unlike you." I responded walking out into the living room he's just awful I swear.

" There's my beautiful babygrirl" Jason said pulling me to the couch. There was something I was officially sure of and that was I was going to make it work with this boy as ling as I possibly could.

" I wanted icecream this is making me crazy." I huffed crossing my arms he let out a soft chuckle an kissed my cheek.

" It will be fine I promise." he responded pulling some loose hair behind my ear.

" I know its just different oh and I was talking to your mom an let it slip Adam over heard me an he said that I'm with you because of it. So I set him straight and walked off but it won't be long before your dad knows. Sorry to ruin the surprise really I am."

" Its okay babygirl I promise an he's just mad he never got you like that. You an our little one are the loves of my life I'm glad I got you both really I am." He said giving me a soft kiss as his family entered the room.

" Hi everyone I'm guess its a movie pizza night to begin." I said smiling as his mom and dad gave me a smile we sat down an began to eat. Through dinner his mother shot me excited smiles as he laughed in my ear. Adam made his hatred know from me to Jason.

as Adam finished his last slice of pizza Mr. Smith said, " So I hear I'm going to be a grand dad at a young age by my oldest son and his girlfriend is coming to lice with us if her parents are OK with it." I smiled at the thought of me living here my baby having a safe place to live for its life.

" Yes sir that's correct even though no one filled me in about her moving in I'm goad she can I just want both mom and your support." Jason responded kissing my cheek

" You have are support. " his dad began but was cut off by Adam

" that's bullshit how can you say that she's pregnant in high-school for Christ sake how can you support something like that at all are you stupid. She's nothing but a whore an you know it look at her she parties an is just." Adam be can ranting.

"dude you need to shut up that's just inappropriate she's done nothing wrong we're just in a situation where this is happening. I love her with all my heart more then anyone or thing I. someone's life she's my world along with our child so stop. Honestly you need to quit and grow up." said Jason balling his fists. My eyes began to tear up so I walked to the bathroom hoping no one would ask what's wrong because nothings wrong just what he said gets to me so much.
