An hour later and all three of us are drunk as can be. Kai left to go with his friends, leaving me and my friends free to do whatever we please.
"Okay, let's face it, that guy is superrr attractive!" Oscar slurs. I nod my head and Addison agrees. I don't find him much attractive, I wasn't really paying attention if I'm being honest.
"I've seen better." I laugh and take another shot.
"Let's go dance!" Addison says and pulls me and Oscar to go dance.
The alcohol has taken over me and I'm swaying my hips to the music. The walls began to move around and I almost trip over my own feet.
"G-guys." I stutter. My vision begins to blur and before I fall to the ground, muscular arms catch me. Oscar.
"Thank you Oscar." I say as he brings me over his shoulder. Wait, this person doesn't smell like Oscar. This scent smells like a strong, expensive cologne.
All of a sudden I'm thrown down and I land flat on a bed. I look around and try to look for the person who carried me. I see a shadow and when it turns around, I know exactly who it is. Kai.
I'm brought to reality and I sit up quickly. Kai rushes over to me and places his hand on my shoulder and pushes me down.
"Woah, calm down. I'm not going to kill you." He gives me a deep grin and sits down on the edge of the bed. I have no words. I barley know this guy and he just took me to his room after he saw me almost fall on my face. He doesn't think I'm going to have sex with him.. does he?
"I need to get back to my friends." I groan and try to stand up again, but Kai pushes me back down.
"No, I'll go find them, they can stay in here too." Kai says and walks out of the room without a look back.
I look around the room. The walls are a deep red and a book shelf catches my eye. I have the strength to stand up and walk over to it. I spot one of my favorites, Fifty Shades Of Grey.
I pull it out and began to flip through the pages and I notice each quote has been highlighted in bright pink. This preppy college kid doesn't seem like the guy to have a book shelf in his room with each book that has at least been read twice, judging by the shape of the book.
The door swings open and Addison, Oscar, and Kai come stumbling in the room. I throw the book on the shelf, careful to make sure Kai doesn't see I had it.
"You guys should all fit on my bed. I'll sleep in a different room." Kai says and gives me a small smile.
"Just, don't touch any of my shit." He adds and points his finger directly at me. Oh god. He saw me touch his book.
My mind goes to how many girls have probably slept in this room and my body shivers. Not because of jealousy, but because of disgust. Addison plops down on the bed and passes out instantly and so does Oscar. I decided to go back to looking at the books.
I'm so lost in reading the highlighted parts that I didn't even hear the footsteps approaching me.
"I said don't touch my stuff." Kai says and grabs the book from my hand. Harshly. I roll my eyes and turn to face him. Anger is clear in his eyes.
"Don't tell me what to do." I snap at him and try to push past him, but he grabs both of wrist in one hand and pushes me against the shelf. A couple books fall, but he doesn't seem to care. His grip around my wrist is so tight it stings.
"Ow Kai, you're hurting me." I Yelp and he looks into my eyes. That's when I notice his eye color. They're a pretty shade of dark blue, like an ocean. The pain in my wrist goes away staring into his eyes but then it instantly comes back when he yells at me.
"That's the point." He spits and let's go of me. I rub my wrist with my hand and walk away from him. My hatred for him is beginning to grow. He has no right to touch me like that.
"You don't have to be so aggressive." I whisper, hoping he didn't hear me.
"Aggressive?" He scoffs, "that was no where near aggressive." He snaps angrily at me. I turn around to face him. I want to walk over there and slap him.
"What is wrong with you? I barley know you and you're already laying hands on me!" I shout, but try to be careful because of Oscar and Addison. Kai's temper begins to cool down and he looks at the wall behind me.
"I'm sorry." He sighs and picks up the books off the floor. Watching him clean up makes me forget about what just happened.
"It's fine." I scoff and stumble to walk over to the bed. I need to sleep. Everything around me is moving and I'm sure I won't even remember anything that happened tonight by the time it's morning.
I slip off my heels and slide in next to Oscar. The light switches off so it's pitch black and seconds later I hear the door close. At least I'm with Addison and Oscar.
