You & I « Motough

Chapter 6

           Derek pulled me into his arms slowly, I could feel his warm breath on my exposed skin. Everything around me was invisible, I could only see him. He pulled away from me, his blue eyes dark then usual, he had an emotion that moved around his face quickly. His eyes travelled from my face down my body then back up again until they met mine once more. My feet were loosing all feeling, going numb from the desire inside of me. His hand pulled me closer once more travelling up my back slowly, my body shivered from his tender touch. He cautiously moved his face towards mine. "Nobody has to know.." He'd whisper in my ear as his lips touched mine. The universe exploded, sparks flew everywhere and I knew this was meant to be. Unconsciously, I wrapped my arm around his neck pulling the kiss in deeper. Derek's hand tugged on the dress, unzipping it slowly. he placed soft kisses down my neck which in return he received a moan from me.

Ring.

Ring.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

           That noise was agitating the hell out me, until I woke up in bed breath so hard I felt like a heart attack was coming on. That agitating ass noise was my door bed, and everything that just happened was all a dream. Oh no.. God no. My life is going to be over just because of one stupid dream. That dream though, wasn't a lie. I've always wanted Derek.. God no, Bethany stop and go open that door before who ever is on the other side bursts inside. Getting up on my bed, I slipped a towel around me because last night I didn't bother putting any clothes on. I walked down to the front door and swung it open seeing a slightly frustrated Derek standing their with a baffled face when he saw me in just a towel.

"Crap is it 10?" I asked as Derek nodded. "I'm sorry, I kinda overslept this morning.." I spoke while letting him into the house. Locking the door I made my way towards the stairs and looked over at him. "Give me a minute to shower and I'll be down." I said before running up the stair in heist then into my bathroom.

           Did I just make a fool of myself in front of Derek? We are spending the day together at my place then go shopping for home supplies but look at me. Hair a mess, morning breath and only a towel with my undies underneath, I'm such a fool. After scowling myself, I jumped into the steamy bath and did my business. When I stepped out the bath, I made my way into the closet and picked out a stylish but comfortable outfit. A white story of my life graphic  pullerover paired with some blue High-Rise Skinny Jeans for shoes I just slipped on some white keds. Before I made my out, I threw my hair in a messy bun then did some light makeup. I slid on my bow rings that my mom purchased for me last night.

           Once I finished getting myself ready, I trotted back down the stairs to Derek who was sitting on my loveseat texting or whatever he was doing. I sat down on his lap innocently and bat my eyelashes giving him a smile full of dimples. Derek chuckled and poked one of my dimples then wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Where should we go first? Pier 1 or Bed Bath and beyond?" He asked with making circles in my lower back with his fingers. I thought about if for a minutes then smiled over at him. "Bed Bath.." I replied to Derek.

"Great, you wanna leave now or..?" Derek asked looking up at me with a small smile.

"Sure.. Let me get my bag.." I smiled then got up from his lap and up the stairs. Grabbing my bag off my bed and grabbed my phone off my pillow. I check my appearance in the mirror then walked down the stairs motioning for him to get out. Once he stepped out, I locked the door and got into the passenger seat.

"Am I gonna have to help you decorate later?" Derek asked me. I laughed smiling at him but nodded while turning on his radio.

"Of course, I'm not going to do that all alone.." I smiled while he chuckled pulling away from my driveway.
