I say nothing. Whenever I do say something back he will always give me a lecture about how if I applied myself I can do anything. He's not wrong, but I am just too lazy.
James: "But since you somehow failed your initial exam to enter, you're going to be put into a team with another promising student."
This piqued my interest, another promising student? Me? Promising? Another student like me? I look into my guardian's eyes to see if he isn't bullshitting me.
Me: "What do you mean by another promising student?"
He smirks in response.
James: "Treat her well and I am sure you two will turn out fine. After all, I hand picked her to be your teammate for the next four years."
