Chapter 3: Year 1 Exams

Year 1: The End

- (Y/N)'s POV -

Thanks to Winter, my latter half of my first year has been successful. Despite my natural instinct of being lazy, we managed to get through the year within the requirement that my uncle has provided.

Me: "Man! So glad we have a small break! I can relax now!"

I jump on the couch and before I could lift myself off the ground, my foot stuck to the floor. I turn around and see Winter using her gravity glyph.

Winter: "We don't have time! We need to study these next few days! You need an 80% on everything as anything below will lower you below General Ironwood's requirements!"

Me: "I hate how you're so right all the time..."

Winter: "Well you're going to need to deal with it for these next few years."

Me: "I don't mind it though. People like you kinda give me the inspiration I need to work. So I guess thank you might be in order."

Winter: "Well, no problem." 

Now we have a few days to study for exams. Luckily, I was with one of the smartest girls that has probably attended Atlas Academy as my roommate who has a strong will to help me pass.

Day 1

Winter: "Nonono this Grimm is ranked higher than this one."

Me: "Why can't we just have it be known as dangerous or not dangerous? It makes it so much easier!"

Winter: "It's better to have a greater understanding on each Grimm so you are prepared for it."

Me: "But knowing if its dangerous or not makes me prepared for it anyways!"

Day 2

Second day of exams and I feel semi confident after yesterday's study session. Until a random question pops into my head since we are studying for our history class.

Me: "Wait... where do Grimm come from? Like do they come from some stupid black puddle in the ground the infinitely creates Grimm that just want to kill us? Nah that can't be possible. A puddle can't create a stupid evil creature."

Winter: "I... honestly have no idea. I don't remember ever talking about where specifically they came from."

Me: "Is it on the exam review?"

Winter: "I don't think so..."

Day 3

Second last day to study for exams. Tomorrow we decided to split the study session in half to practice for the combat exam. But right now, it's just another... boring... study session.

Me: "Winter... why am I so lazy...?"

Winter: "You're asking me?"

Me: "Why are you so beautiful?"

Wait what did I just say?

Winter: "What?"

Me: "I said why are you so smart?"

Smooooooth... really smooth recovery there (Y/N).

Winter: "Oh I thought you said something else. But to answer that question, I study and do my work like everyone else does."

Me: "Well we are going to do some combat training tomorrow so I guess I have to get through today." I crack my knuckles. "Let's do this!... but first let me get us some coffee. Want some?"
