I was currently on my way to a party at some kids house with Michael and Jackie. I told her I would, since she did that for me on Monday.
Hyde had to work so I didn't bother asking if he wanted to join.
"So whose party is this?" I asked.
"You'll see." Jackie said as the van stopped.
I got out of the van and followed them up to the house.
"Let's go get a drink." I said.
"Michael and I will catch up with you later." Jackie said walking away.
Are you fucking serious? Everything time I do something with them, they ditch me.
Fuck it, cheers to me. I drank a couple of beers and by a couple I mean three going on four. So yeah I was tipsy already.
I didn't want to be here at all, especially if I'm by myself.
I decided to locate the closest phone and dialed a number I was hoping was right.
"Thanks for calling Fotohut, how can we help?" Leo asked.
"Hi Leo this is V, is Hyde there?" I asked.
"It's for you." I heard him say.
"Hello?" He asked.
"Hey Hyde it's V." I said.
"Hey, how's it going?" He asked.
"Not so good." I said.
"Why, what's up?" He asked.
"Yanno the usual." I said.
"Did they leave you again?" He asked.
"Yeah and I really don't want to be here." I said.
"Where are you?" He asked.
"Over on Rango Street." I said.
"That's like a ten minute walk from the hut." He said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah you should walk over and I could take you home when I get off." He said.
"Yeah I'm totally on my way." I said.
"Do you know how to get here from there?" He asked.
"No." I said.
"Do you have a pen?" He asked.
"Yeah, I got one." I said digging through my purse.
"You ready?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"You turn right on Sherman then keep going straight till you hit Popes then take a left then another right and then soon you'll see the Fotohut sign." He said.
"Okay I'll see you soon." I said.
"Be safe" He said.
"I will." I said then hanging up the phone.
Before I left, I grabbed three beers then I made my way out of the house without Jackie or Michael seeing me and made my way to the hut.
I made it to the hut sooner then I thought. I walked up to the back door and knocked on it.
The door soon opened, revealing Hyde.
"That was fast." He said hugging me.
"I know." I said.
