"You sure, you're ready to do this?" Hyde asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I said.

I was seconds away from confronting my parents along with Michael and Kasey.

They left us when we were just kids, even Kasey.

They wanted to come back, like nothing happened. Like they didn't leave three kids under the age of twenty, to fend for ourselves.

I walked into the back door followed by Hyde.

Kitty and Red had offered to hold the "meeting" at their place.

"How you feelin?" Red asked as we walked into the kitchen.

"Could be better honestly." I said.

"Are they here yet?" Hyde asked.

"Not yet, but the other hooligans are downstairs." He said.

"Alright thanks." I said as I walked past him followed by Hyde

We then came across the basement stairs and walked down them.

"What are you all doing here?" I asked as I noticed the whole gang.

         "Moral support." Donna said.

"You guys really didn't have to." I said.

"But we did, we're family." Jackie said as she reached for my hands.

"I don't deserve you guys one bit." I said as I hugged her.

"We know how you guys don't really like talking about it, but just know that we'll always be here for you."Eric said.

"I love you guys." I said as I put my lip out.

"Group hug." Jackie said.

Slowly, but surely everyone formed into a circle, arm around each other.

As we stood there, I heard the basement door opened, and heels clicking against the wooden stairs.

"Michael, V, are you guys ready?" Kitty asked.

"As ready as I think we'll ever be." Michael said.

"Let's get this over with." I said.

Without hesitation the whole gang headed upstairs.

"How are you guys holding up?" Kasey asked as we entered the kitchen.

   "Stressing." I said.

"Just get everything out okay? He asked.

    "I know." I said.

"When you guys are ready, their in the living room." Kitty said as she came back into the kitchen followed by Red.

"If you even need a break for a second, we'll be here." Donna said.

"We'll all be here." Red said.

"I'm ready as I'll ever be." I said.

I gave everyone a hug, and Hyde an extra long one.

I took a deep breath then followed Kasey and Michael into the living room.

"Look how grown our babies are." I heard my "mother" say.

"We aren't your babies anymore." Michael said as I sat in a chair in between him and Kasey.

"Of course you are, you are always going to be our babies." She said.
