Chapter 18. Permission Granted
Zach's Point of View
The sudden change of events a while ago made us shy from each other. At the dining table, I couldn't even bare to look at her because of what I did. Honestly, I never thought that we would go that far. I mean, I don't want to rush things. I want to take it slowly but surely for us. That event surely gave me a little bit of embarrassment for myself but I can't show it to her.
Remember that I said I was giving a surprise to her. Well, it's today that's why I get her to wake up early but turns out that happen. Not that, that thing take long -- I mean we didn't do that, we make out. Why am I acting this way?
"So I saw that you've slept in Steicy's room" Lewis suddenly come out somewhere. I'm outside right now, trying to get some air. I can't talk straight to her when she's around. I always imagine what happen this morning.
"Ohh dude, stop that" I lightly punched his arm. He laughed in response. We were both watching the whole picturesque view. This place is still amazing. I've been here once before Steicy didn't talk to me.
"So are you and my sister is like..." showing me his two fingers closed to each other. "You know?" he added. I laughed at his silliness, his still the Lewis I grew up to
"Yes, Lewis. We are" I answered. Lewis was actually like my big brother. Besides Steicy, Nevia, Kyle, and Dale, Lewis was one of my closest friends. His being a good friend, he know that I have a crush on Steicy when we were young but I keep on denying it to him. I mean, who would confess you have a crush on your friend's sister, right?
"You better take care of her, Zach" he warned. I looked at him and smiled
"Of course, I will. She's been the only girl I want to be with. It may sound a little bit cheesy but I don't want to lose her again" I replied. Ever since Steicy decided to ignore me and didn't talk to me, I started to think what did I do wrong? That's why I started pulling pranks on her. Having her was a lot easier for me in expressing my feelings and emotions. I can never hide something from her, she always knows if there is something wrong with me. She's the only one that could understand me better than anyone. And losing her was harder for me, I can't open up to Kyle because maybe he would judge me and maybe I couldn't get the right advice for a problem.
"Good to know Zachary" he replied. He tapped my shoulder and walked inside the house.
I let out a heavy sigh as I stare at the view. I slowly felt a pair of arms wrapping around my waist.
"What's wrong?" she asked. I hold her hand and shake my head as a response.
"Nothing Icy" I pulled her to be in front of me. I hugged her at the back and kissed her on top of her head.
"You sure?" she asked and tilt her head to see me
"I'm sure" I replied. I lowered my head to kiss her. I didn't expect that this time would come.
"What do you like to do before we go home tomorrow?" I asked hugging her from behind.
"Uhm... I don't know. Do you have something in mind?" she asked.
"Maybe strolling like before?" I asked.
"Sure" she replied and smiled at me. I hugged her tightly. I miss her, everything about her.
"Good. I'll see you in your room at 10:00" I informed and kissed her on her cheeks. She smiled at me and hug me one last time before entering the house.
Okay, Zachary, this is your time. Make sure you're on track. No distractions or anything.
I entered the house and saw Mr. Lopez in the living room. He was sort of serious at the moment but when he saw me, he sort of came back from the real world.
