The Doroza roared fiercely at them, as it flapped its leathery wings over the deep waters not too far from the shore.

"Cora!" pleaded Maraxus desperately, "Get a hold of yourself!"

Maraxus' desperate attempts to shake her awake were to no avail. Cora had expanded too much energy in letting explosive arrow after explosive arrow fly at the Doroza, even though she had only shot the Infinite Arrow three times in quick succession. Even though Cora had the blood for it, and the ability to wield the Infinite Arrow, it was, in the end, an Unwieldable, and it showed, as Cora gradually lost her consciousness and strength, and fainted helplessly in the sand, with only Maraxus, Kaleb, and Baros there to provide her cover, while the Martel sisters engaged in the main act, facing the Doroza head-on so that they could buy time for Cora White to fully recover.

"Fuck," cursed Maraxus, giving up as he realized that Cora was not going to be on her two feet anytime soon. They had to improvise and find a way to get around this dire skirmish, whilst also having complete faith in Vaelia and Velenya, that they would be able to manage on their own.

So far, that seemed to be the case.

"Sister," Vaelia spoke, as they floated across the flapping Doroza in a silent standoff over the waters. "Our priority is to keep the Doroza away from the island and in the water. We need to buy time for Cora to recover from the backlash of using her Unwieldable."

"Couldn't agree more," obliged Velenya, as she raised her right hand in a tight fist, thus, raising the waters from below the Doroza, attempting to catch it with her own spell.

However, the wyvern was intelligent enough, that it was able to fly away from the rising waters, successfully dodging Velenya's initial attack, as it made its way even higher above them. Having avoided the waters that Velenya had taken under her control, the Doroza taunted at them, letting out a massive, deafening roar that pierced the heavens as it attempted to frustrate Velenya by taunting her right after her failed attack, but she remained unfazed.

After all, she was the most capable out of all the six of them.

Suddenly, the two-horned Doroza then began to open its jaw wide, wider than it was when it had been roaring at them all those previous times, and immediately, energy began accumulating rapidly just outside its mouth, forming into a rapidly spiraling, concentrated mass of immense, red energy that gained size with every passing second.

"Wh—!" Vaelia reacted, "I've never seen it do that!"

"I have," assured her older sister, "Take cover. This will be a big one."

Just as the spiraling mass of concentrated energy reached the peak of its intensity, Velenya quickly raised the waters from below, raising them so high that she formed a steady wall of water that she would use as a barrier to protect them from the Doroza's blast of energy.

"Good thinking!" shouted Vaelia, as the splashes and waves of rising water grew increasingly louder, "Let me freeze the water wall in place!"

Finally, the Doroza had finished accumulating its immense concentration of energy, just as it released the heavily and rapidly spiraling mass, launching it towards the Martel sisters, who had raised a barrier of water to defend themselves from it.

Just in time, Vaelia Martel was able to freeze it completely. With Velenya also reinforcing the wall of ice with her own strong energies, they were successfully able to fully repel the immense blast of energy that was launched by the Doroza, and in turn, the blast only managed to catch the Doroza itself, as well as a few unlucky schools of fish that had unfortunately happened to be close by the vicinity.
