Training with Edgeshot was about to begin and Izuku couldn't wait. He would train on how to improve his stealth attacks and with the best ninja hero known! As usual Izuku woke up early and had breakfast and then headed to the gym to start training. Once Izuku arrived he was greeted with ... Edgeshot who threw him on the ground..
Edgeshot: As I imagined. Your guard, the first time you came to my office, was high because you didn't know the place, but you don't always have a tall guard. I managed to make you fall as if nothing had happened. In the first 6 days that you will stay with me we will not patrol. As I already told you, I want you to show me that I can do a patrol so the first 6 days we will train regardless of the situations. If by the last day you have shown me that you are worthy, we will not go on the last day. I have a mission, to attack a mafia refuge. We already have all the necessary information. Show me that you are worthy and you can come, otherwise you will stay for another round with Kugo.
Izuku: Yes sir.
Edgeshot's training starts with a little warm-up (not like Mirko's) and then moves on to a particular workout. Izuku had to be able to hit Edgeshot without ever being identified. Needless to say, Izuku couldn't even get close to Edgeshot without being slammed on the ground or taking a few shots in the stomach. They continued to train on this for more than three hours and then take a break to rest and eat as it was lunchtime. Once the detachment was over they resumed but this time Edgeshot decided to train Izuku to use the weapons of a real ninja. The first day they spent it on the katana, also to improve Izuku's ability to use Bloodcurle, while the other days they would have used it for other weapons such as Shuriken, bow and of course martial arts. At the end of the day Izuku was destroyed. He had a hard time walking since his legs hurt and this would last for 6 days. Isuku then collapsed into bed and fell asleep in seconds. The day after was the same. Izuku couldn't even get close to Edgeshot without getting caught on the act and getting knocked to the ground as a result. Edgeshot also decided that day to spend it on shurikes. The day still follows Izuku has finally managed to get closer but not to hit the ninja hero. The training went on for the whole week when, on the last day ...
Edgeshot: Okay, enough with the heating. As usual try to hit me. Let's see if you can finally do it today.
Izuku: Yea sir.
Edgeshot then positioned himself in the center of the arena with his eyes closed. Izuku then started to approach. Silence. Edgeshot did not feel a simple movement of air, when suddenly a little air movement behind him was perceived. Edgeshot therefore concentrated on that movement of air ... perhaps a little too much. From the front Edgeshot Izuku then placed the wooden katana on Edgeshot's head. Edgeshot then opened his eyes in amazement to see Izuku with a smile in front of him.
Edgeshot: Nice job Izuku. How did you do with the wind shift I felt behind me?
Izuku: Well, it was something I had tried for a while even though you never noticed it. I simply threw a stone behind you, but usually immediately after doing it I let myself be discovered. Today, however, I managed to stay calm and you concentrated more on that movement of air and this allowed me to hit you.
Edgeshot then chuckled
Edgeshot: Very good boy, I would say that now I can say with certainty that you are worthy. Tomorrow we will meet outside my office at 5.30 am. We have a raid on a mafia base to complete. But today is not yet finished as a day so let's start training again.
The two then start training again to prepare for the raid. The next day Izuku showed up, as requested, in front of Edgeshot's office ready to take action.
Only now do I realize that I have never mentioned how Izuku's costume is made so know that it is like this.
