Volleyball practice

I know how i am writing isnt what goes down in the anime but there is no way in hell im rewatching haikyuu for the 80th time to write exactly how it went down in the anime so bare with me lauv ❤️

Few days later

I woke up earlier than usual. I got ready in my regular school uniform and went to brush my teeth and hair. Once I finished I went downstairs where i saw my mum and dad as you greeted them lovingly giving them both a hug "goodmorning guys." i spoke "Goodmorning sweetheart!" My mother spoke to you in a loving and caring tone. "Goodmorning princess, you're up early." "I know, anyways mom whats for breakfast?" "Just pancakes today y/n". Once i had finished breakfast i got my gym back and hung the strap on my shoulder getting ready to go to hinatas house to walk to school together. When i opened the door i already saw my best getting ready to knock which made you laugh before hinata greeted my parents and said goodbye. You both left your house and began walking to school. "Are you excited for today y/n?" "A bit yeah, what about you?" "Im excited too, I just don't want to see that jerks face" Hinata said making an annoying face. "You mean Kageyama?" You laughed. "Yeah that guy.."

You both continued to talk for a while before eventually arriving at school. You hugged hinata goodbye before walking off to your homeroom class. On your way there you greeted a girl with dark hair and glasses. She seemed nice and you wanted to be friends but thought she wasn't interested since she was a third year and since she was your team manager. You made it to your classroom and sat down in your chair, you were minding your own business before you noticed somebody sitting next to you. You turned your head to see tsukishima. The rude and tall blonde boy from the day before, y/n turned her head before hearing him calling out for her in a stupid voice. "Hey shorty, didn't expect to see you here" you turned you head to look at him before rolling your eyes. "What the hell do you want you giraffe" you clapped back and heard him make a tsk sound with his mouth. You smirked before he decided it was a good idea to tease you some more. It kept going on for most of the day and you tried to contain yourself until lunch time. You walked over to Hinata and smiled since you were finished able to hang out with the only person that didn't get on your nerves. "Hi shoyo!" You said happily "hi y/n, how's class?" He asked you. You rolled your eyes as he handed you a milk carton.

"Whats wrong?" He asked "oh nothing, just shittyshima over there has been teasing me the whole damn day.." "oh well that sucks, nice nickname by the way" "i know, thank you" we both chuckled. We hung out for the rest of lunch before saying our goodbyes and heading to class.

*time skip lauv*

After school was over. You went into the locker rooms and changed into your practice clothes. A white shirt and spandex shorts. You didn't want to wear this but it was the only thing you had. Once you got dressed you went over to the gym where you were greeted by hinata and Kageyama. "Oh wow look at her, and in those shorts" tanaka said swooning over you as he watched you enter the gym. You chuckled before you saw some new people you hadn't seen before. You greeted them before seeing tsukishima and his friend yamagachi. You kindly greeted yamagachi before rolling your eyes over at tsukki. He rolled his eyes before flicking your neck. You glared at him before walking off. You saw the girl from earlier as you greeted her kindly "hi Kiyoko!" "Oh hello y/n, its nice to see you again" she said in a calm yet happy voice before Tanaka rushed over to her which made you know it was time to walk off

"I bet you suck at volleyball" tsukishima said with a smirk on his face. "Oi why, is it because im a girl?" You said. "W-What no, not because of that! Don't twist things.." he said in a shocked voice which made you chuckle. "Hm alright but just to prove to you im not bad watch this.." you gave him a cocky smirk before you told Kageyama to serve you the ball. When he did you jumped up high in the air hitting the ball over the net. You knew how to do the legendary quick serve the way hinata and Kageyama would do but just not as good.  He looked at you shocked "what, speechless?" You asked "No just didn't know a short ass like you could jump" he laughed while pushing his glasses up.

"God I hate you tsukki.." you said before receiving a ball daichi sent. "Don't call me that" he said as he failed to block. "Awww sorry saltyshima"  "stop calling me stupid nick names you shortie" he said before putting you in a headlock and ruffling up your hair before letting you go as he walked away while you heard him chuckling from a distance. You groaned before fixing your hair back up in a ponytail. "Stupid tsukki.."  "Say that and I'll do it again"   "HEY, Stop fooling around and get back to practice." Daichi said from across the gym "i- yes, sorry captain" you said apologetically and bowing while tsukki looked at you and laughed making you turn to him giving him a glare.  "S-Shut up salt shaker!"
