My dream was interrupted by sunlight streaming into the room and into my eyes. There was a knock at the door and Jason stepped in. I closed my eyes, trying to block out the sun.

      "Destiny," he called. "Get up!"

      "Five more minutes!" I groaned.

      "Get up!"

"I'm up!" I sighed and turned to look at him. "What do you want?"

"I want you to get up and I'm taking you to get some clothes." he said.

"Fine," I grumbled. I looked at him. "Do you mind?"

"Oh, right," he said, turning red. "Sorry."

I rolled my eyes playfully as he left. I got up and made my way to the bathroom. I winced at my reflection. My blonde hair was everywhere. I stripped down and hopped into the shower, turning the water temperature to hot. I sighed as the water poured onto my face, hair and body. I got out and put my clothes on. I combed my hair through and pulled it into a braid, securing it with an elastic I had around my wrist. I opened the door and found Jason standing outside. I rolled my eyes

"You really waited for me?" I asked.

      "Yup," he nodded.

      "Can we go shopping now?"

"Alright. Let's go!" he said, excited.

I shook my head and followed him to his car. I pulled a seat-belt on and sighed. He started up the car and started driving to a clothing store.

"So, how do you like Storybrooke so far?" he asked.

"It's nice," I shrugged. "The people are actually really nice. It's a really small town though."

"Yeah, not many people know about it. It's, like, hidden from the other cities."

The rest of the trip was in silence. Occasionally, Jason would look over at me and when I looked back, he turned away. I couldn't shake the feeling off that we knew each other and were best friends before I lost my memory. When we finally arrived, I literally jumped out. I hadn't realized how excited I was until I actually got out of the car. I probably spent $60 on clothes. When we were going to his car, I had no other way to thank him since well, for me, words weren't enough.

"Thank you," I said and stood up on my tip-toes and kissed his cheek.

His face flushed pink. "Y-you're welcome."

What the hell. . . I barely know him! I thought.

The drive back was even more silent. Jason barely looked over at me and most of the time, I had my head down. My hands were in my lap and it was extremely awkward. I suddenly wished I hadn't kissed him. We gathered all the bags and dropped them off in my room. I told him I was going to go get some fresh air. Surprisingly, he agreed. I went down a few flights of stairs and pressed open the door. Warm air blew against my face. I was lost in thought. What had happened before I lost my memories? Did we used to know each other?

My concentration was broken when I slammed into someone and fell backwards onto my butt. I looked up and saw a woman with shoulder-length black hair, eyes as dark as obsidian, and a cold expression.

"I am so, so, so, so, sorry!" I exclaimed. "I-I wasn't looking where I was going and--"

"It's alright," she said. "I'm Regina, mayor of Storybrooke."

My eyes widened and all I knew was that I was so majorly screwed.
