Chapter 15

y/n and Peter were still cuddling in front of the fire. They were currently playing with each other hands as Felix showed up with a worried face on his face.

"I'm sorry Angel, I have to speak with Felix" said Peter to y/n "Okay, but hurry" she said and he left a small kiss on his temple "I promise" he said and walked out of the blanket. He wrapped it around her body before rushing to Felix.

"I know that look, what happened?" asked Peter.

"Balefire" said Felix "i'm afraid he got away".

"Then why didn't you got him back?" snapped Peter "I tried" said Felix "I followed his trail and found two of our sentries knocked out by a sleeping spell".

Now Peter realised what happened.

"The dark one" he said with an evil smirk "so father and son have been reunited". "They're here for the boy, but i have an idea how to get rid of them" said Felix and Peter looked at him, with a question mark.

"Why don't we send y/n after them? She could defeat the dark one if we give her full powers" said Felix.

"No" said Peter firmly "why not?" asked Felix.

"First of all, if we give her the full powers, she might blow up the entire island and us in it. Second of all, we don't know if she's stronger than the dark one and I don't want to risk losing her" said Peter  and Felix had no other choice than to nod. "Then what are we going to do with the boy? I suggest we move him somewhere safe?"

"Now, now, Felix" smirked Peter "Where's your sense of adventure?" He moved his boy to look at Henry "We can't end this party when the fun is about to begin".

Just as promised, Peter went back to y/n and contunued to cuddle with her and watched the lost boys dance.

Until everyone in there, except for Peter got knocked out by what sounded by heavily wind. y/n's head fell on Peter's stomach, Peter grabbed her body and carefully managed to put her body down at the floor.

"Looks like we have a guest" said Peter as he caressed her forehead, making sure that y/n were comfortable.

"No doubt someone who knows how much I like guessing games." he said as he stood up "who could it be? I guess..." he lighted up the fire again and revealed Rumpelstiltskin "The dark one".

"Come to save Henry, have you Laddie?" asked Peter "The dark one ready to sacrifice himself in order to save his family. Speaking of family" he said and lighted up a torch behind Rumple.

"You can come out now Baelfire" said Peter and Baelfire did what he was told.

"Name's Neal now" he said pointed a loaded crossbow at Pan "new name, but the same old tricks. Heartwarming to see father and son working together. Especially after you abandoned him, Rumple. This is a real family reunion".

"What are you waiting for?" asked Rumple "i got this" said Bae and shot an arrow at Pan, but Pan caught it.

"Clever. But we've been through this before, Baelfire. Have I taught you nothing?" "I remember plenty, that's why i didn't coat the tip" he said and now Peter realised that Baelfire had tricked him.

The part above the tip were coated by squid ink, which just happens to be a magical product, used for freezing a victim in their place. Pan disposes of the arrow but is then put under the effect of the paralyzing squid ink. They rush to grab Henry, and Pan says that he's impressed, but then asks Bae if he's sure he's really saving Henry, and Bae asks what could be worse than leaving him with his captor. Peter suggests that he ask his father, for sometimes the people we should fear the most are the ones closest to us. Neal asks his father what he's talking about, and Rumple tells him not to listen to Pan, as the perpetual young man tells Baelfire about the prophecy. Bae asks what prophecy, and Pan answers that it's the prophecy that says he has been tricked, for his father isn't there to rescue Henry: he's there to murder him...

Rumple and Baelfire had left the compound. Unfortunately, the thing about the Prophecy were true and Baelfire paralyzed Rumple with the ink. He didn't trust him anymore, which meant that Baelfire grabbed Henry, and left his father there.

He finds his way to the clearing and found a camp, with the sleeping Henry over his shoulder. He puts the boy down on the ground and feels the hot air around the bonfire, indicating that someone - Emma, he concludes - had been there recently.

"You were so close to finding her" said Peter voice, which made Bae jump up. THe lost boys arrived to and grabbed Henry.

"You disappoint me, I thought I taught you better. Never break in somewhere unless you know the way out" "I'll remember that for the next time" said Bae "There isn't going to be a next time".

"but don't blame yourself" said Peter as Felix grabbed Henry and put him around his shoulders. "your father would have protected you out here sure, but who could've protected Henry from him?" said Peter.

"Talk about a rock and a hard place".

"I will get my son back, whatever it takes" said Baelfire to Peter.

"you're not getting it. That's not the problem. You got him, I got him back. It's the game" said Peter with the smile. "no my boy" he said laughing "the real problem for you, is that there is no escaping Neverland. No one gets off this island without my permission".

"I've done it before" said Bae with a cocky tone, Peter narrowed his eyebrows.

"Did you?"

That made Baelfire thinking.

"Are you saying that you let me go?" said Baelfire "did you really believe that I'd let you come between me and y/n? She's mine and only mine".

Baelfire started to think about the moment where he figured out a way to leave Neverland. How it was so easy it was for him to realise it, just as someone told him. Was it Peter all along?

Did he somehow tell Baelfire how to get off this island without letting Baelfire know? Just so that he'd leave y/n behind with a broken heart, so that she'd search comfort in him??

Okay, that's seriously evil. Do you know how hurtful a broken heart is?

Baelfire were about to snap back but the sound of his son almost waking up with a groan. "You know where to take him" said Peter as the lost boys grabbed Baelfire in order to take him away. Baelfire tried to resist their grips but the lost boys were to strong and managed to pull him away from Henry.

"And make sure that y/n never found him" shouted Peter to them.

"y/n" said Peter as he was shaking her body slowly. "What?" asked y/n, her voice husky from the lack of sleep.

"You fell asleep in my arms" lied Peter, but he was so good at lying so she believed him. She were actually in his arms.

"Must be tired from earlier" she said with her smile at him. "I could take you to bed, if you want" said Peter, she nodded as she stood up, but Peter stopped her.

"no need to do that, you go back asleep" said Peter and y/n were happy to hear that. She leaned back and closed her eyes as Peter lifted her up and put her in his embrace. He carried her to the treehouse bridal style, and then teleported into the house and put her on the bed.
