The sound of the plant was close, " Bakura I hear the fucker" looking around the swamp area, you tried tracking down the glowing humming plant in the dark, you had decided that it wouldn't be a bad idea to have Bakura travel with you, however, you didn't think it would involve this stupid plant." Don't wander in the dark, knowing you, you'll fall into a pit again " Looking up, you saw Bakura on a rock trying to grab glowing mushrooms, " you need that too? " he looked down from his collecting," firstly do you know the importance of glowing mushrooms? My shock spells will be stronger and if mixed with the correct ingredients, even stronger " he said as he jumped down to join you," did you find any? " he looked around," I don't exactly know how this plant is rare, it's so annoying I'm surprised that it hasn't been ripped out of the ground by every person yet " he flashed a look as he harvested nightshade, " I understand your hate for this plant, but I need it, and yes fuck nirnroot,". Walking deeper into the forest, leaving Bakura to his nightshade, you continued to track the humming of the plant, it was here, you knew that much.

After a brief walk, you found it, the damn plant, quickly plucking it from its lakeside home, you put it in your bag, ignoring its obnoxious glowing," fuck nirnroot " you cursed as you noticed more glowing and humming loudly around the small lake. Bakura owed you massively for this. As you walked to the next nirnroot plant a sound akin to a tree moving in wind echoed around the area, spriggan..... drawing your glass sword you turned to face the creature, it's glowing green eyes followed your movements before it lunged towards you, reaching its claws out.

Bakura pov

It was quite, the film sound of a distant nirnroot echoing in the area." where the bloody hell " I walked around, searching the area. Y/n had a habit of getting in trouble, one of the two reasons I even agreed to tag along. Climbing up a rock formation, the sound of a scream drew me to my location, y/n was fighting a spriggan, wonderful. I drew my sword as ran towards the mess y/n was in.

You pov

the spriggan clawed your arm as you ducked out of the way, the spriggan being set on fire was a surprise as you noticed Bakura using magic to burn this thing into a crisp. The spriggan ignored Bakura entirely, even though it was being burnt, it's attention stayed on you. Getting up and trying to run to the high ground may have been your worst idea today, the spriggan easily clawed at your legs as you were pulled closer to it. Bakura ran over swinging his sword at the bark monster, finally, it turned its sights on Bakura, the spriggan only lasted a few moments before Bakura burnt it to death.

" you can't stay safe for a moment" he scolded you as he looked you over, " yeah yeah " you hissed in pain as Bakura looked over your shoulder and leg, " you need to be more careful, a spriggan is hard for anyone to take down, " he continued, sighing you let him look you over. " I found one nirnroot, I trampled the rest" he paid no mind to your words " fuck the nirnroot, you-" snapping back before he could finish  " I wish you spoke about me the way speak of nirnroot" he looked up, his red eyes glaring into your e/c ones " now, don't compare yourself to a plant, plants can be replaced," he said as he healed your leg. Opening your mouth to say something in respond he cut you off, " don't tempt me with your body, I have held back thus far, you being injured doesn't change anything " he finished healing what he could as he helped you up, " now.....does that offer still stand?" you asked as he eyed you, " how far is your home? Or would a inn due? " he asked quickly, " my home is closer then any inn " he nudged you along quickly, his mission for nirnroot forgotten, " let us go then "
