Chapter 15

Rain's POV

As soon as we got back the King called Zane and I forward. "Since no one else wished to challenge your mating Luna Rain you may mark Alpha Zane to seal your mating."

I was excited for this as I turned towards Zane and placed a hard kiss on his lips before moving to the junction in between his neck and shoulder. I placed a few kisses before I found the perfect spot and sank my canines in. It was instant as the bond strengthened I felt us become one as my wolf howled in happiness. Zane's arms tightened around my waist as her chest rumbled with pleasure. As soon as I retracted my canines I opened my eyes and saw Zane's beautiful red eyes staring at me with so much passion and happiness.

Everyone gasped when I opened my eyes but I didn't care as I pulled Zane's face down towards me and he slammed his lips into mine. After a few seconds of passionate kissing the King cleared his throat and we pulled away blushing and smiling.

"Luna Rain?" The King questioned and I turned and faced him as he and the princes gasped in surprise. "You can see?"

I nodded my head, " yes your highness, we discovered when Zane had marked me and whenever we mate I would get my sight back temporarily. After our wolves completed their bond we discovered that my wolf did gain her sight back but not anywhere near as strong as it should be. She basically sees as if she is looking through a dense fog. We are hoping mine does the same although we are uncertain of what it shall do." I told him and looked around as I saw mostly everyone's faces for the first time.

Everyone was shocked and I could still see their auras as they were all actually happy for me except for Devon, Elena, Prince Caleb and one or two others. Finally my eyes landed on Zane and i could never get over how handsome he was. It was no surprise that he was no longer wearing his hat or shades as everyone saw his true self earlier. His aura was so proud and happy I couldn't help the massive smile that came to my face to match his. The King's voice once again broke our staring match.

"That is amazing and if you are willing I would not mind if my doctors took a look and could see if there is anything they can do as well as the science behind this." I just nodded my head and he continued. "Well we came here for a reason and I will allow Alpha Zane to give a closing statement before we vote on the new law."

With that Zane grab my hand and intertwined our fingers before looking up and around at the rest of the Alpha's. "I know most of you have encountered a wolf like us at some point in your life. Most have turned a blind eye to the abuse and neglect while other willingly participated in hurting and killing us. Now that you all know my true identity as not only the top Alpha below the crown, or the best and youngest Alpha to train the RES but as an Alpha who if I was in almost any other pack would have either been put down at birth, abandoned to the Iron Pack or wilderness, or even kept and made a pack slave and endured years of abuse and torture. I am sure you can now see why I am so passionate about what I do and this law. Not only is my beautiful mate like me but she is just as strong if not stronger. You have seen what we have accomplished in just six short months with only 20 of the hundred plus wolves we have worked with. Imagine what these wolves could do if they had a lifetime of this treatment instead of abuse and abandonment. So I ask you to not only think about my mate and myself and the wolves you have meet, seen and heard of but also any and all future pack members and the future children you may have. Disabilities and deformities does not equal weakness."

With that he pulled me into his side and we left the room to allow them to vote privately. Zane decided to take me to the Royal Gardens as my sight was still clear and strong. Even as we walked through the garden I couldn't help be keep staring at Zane. I couldn't believe this handsome male was all mine. Elena was an idiot to reject him especially since Devon has nothing on him. Goddess the things I wanted to do to him while I still had such perfect sight.
