The sun was dipping below the horizon as the three of us—Eraserhead, Present Mic, and Midnight—made our way towards the forest. Nezu had sent us on this mission, but the reason behind it seemed peculiar. Nezu, ever enigmatic, had only given us a vague description of our task: to find a boy known as the Forest Guardian. As we trekked, I couldn't shake off a sense of unease.

Flashback

Nezu had called Midnight, Present Mic, and me into his office one afternoon. He sat calmly behind his desk, sipping tea as usual. The atmosphere was tense.

"Please, have a seat. Tea?" Nezu offered, though we all declined.

The silence was palpable until Midnight broke it, her voice tinged with curiosity. "So, Nezu, why did you summon us?"

Nezu set his cup down, his eyes twinkling with a mix of seriousness and mischief. "I need you to investigate a boy in the forest. He's known as the Forest Guardian."

Before I could voice my frustration, I blurted out, "You brought us all the way here just for a kid?"

Nezu's expression remained unchanged. "He's a child with unique abilities. I'm concerned about his well-being."

"Yeah, we'll check on him. No problem!" Present Mic exclaimed, his enthusiasm almost deafening.

As we left Nezu's office, his laughter echoed behind us. It was unsettling but not unexpected from him.

End of Flashback

Now, as we entered the forest, the towering trees and dense undergrowth created an intimidating atmosphere. Midnight's curiosity and Present Mic's energy contrasted with my own growing concern. Nezu had mentioned that this boy could heal others but not himself, which added an extra layer of urgency to our mission.

"What's the forest called again?" Present Mic asked, his voice resonating through the trees.

"The Feared Forest," I answered. It was also known as Slender's Forest, a name that only heightened the forest's ominous reputation.

The forest's silence was interrupted by the sound of rustling leaves and distant animal calls. As we moved deeper, I became more alert, sensing the subtle shifts in the environment. Suddenly, I noticed some bushes shaking and animals darting away.

"Something's close. Stay on guard," I whispered, but before we could react, everything went dark.
