The Master Tactician - SAO Aincrad Arc X OC

Two Meetings

It's been about a month since the game started, and lets just say things aren't looking great. Two thousand people have died already, and we haven't even cleared the first floor yet. Things look kind of rough. Luckily, we're having a meeting to discuss things about the floor 1 boss. 

It's around 11:00 A.M. We're all gathered at a small stage like structure, with a  guy with blue hair standing at the center. I've been in a party with Kirito grinding this whole time, so it's my first time in a while gathering with people like this. As we were talking amongst ourselves, The blue haired guy clapped his hands to get our attention.

"All right people. My name is Diavel, and the role I play is knight" said the guy at the center. Honestly that was a bad joke. No one really laughed, and I get it, it really wasn't that funny. 

"Putting that aside, let's get serious. My party found the floor boss on one of our dungeon raids." This was finally some good news in SAO. I thought the meeting could've been about this, but I was still glad.

"Hey Kirito, how about it. Someone found the floor boss before you. Getting a little rusty?" I said jokingly

"Hey stop it. I'm reconsidering if partying up with you was actually a good idea" said Kirito. I suppose this was a joke, but it was hard to tell because his voice stayed serious.

"First, we need to beat the floor boss and get to the second floor. Then we need to tell everyone at the Town of beginnings that it is possible to beat this game!" Diavel instructed us. Honestly, this Diavel guy is a pretty good leader. He might even become one of the biggest front line leaders at this pace. Everyone amazed at this declaration started clapping. 

"Now, talking strategies on fighting the boss, we'll need to divide ourselves into parties of six" I looked over at Kirito knowing we were going to need more party members. He had the biggest expression of 'oh shit' that I've seen. Then looked around. Everyone already knew each other. This was a bit of a problem. 

"Hey Kirito. Go ask around to see if anyone wants to join our party. I'll look around as well". I'm usually pretty good with people, but only if I already know them. It's really hard for me to talk to strangers, so I ended up asking the groups of four. Unfortunately, all of them said no, saying that they were waiting on other people. As I went back to sit down, I saw a small health-bar pop up in the corner of my sight. Above it was the name 'Asuna'. I guess Kirito had more luck than me.

"Look at you, already getting a girl in our party" I teased Kirito making sure no one heard.

"Oh shut it JP. How about you pay attention to Diavel. You're the one who doesn't know about the boss"

"OK,OK got it. You need to chill dude"

As Diavel started talking again, we heard someone come from behind and say "Hold on a sec!"

This relatively short guy with short brown hair jumped to the center of the stage. And started rambling.

"My name's Kibaou, got that? We all know about the two thousand people who've died so far. So some of you need to apologize right now! I'm talking about the beta testers" Hold up. The beta testers? I looked at kirito who looked a little worried. He was a beta tester after all.

"It's their fault that those people are dead. They snatched the best farming and hunting spots, as well as taking all the easy quests. We should make them apologize to us right now as well as giving us all of their items and equipment right now! How can they expect them to trust them if they can't trust us". I looked at Kirito again, and it seemed as if he was going to stand up. I held his shoulder down and shook my head, ad if I was mentally telling him 'don't do it'.
