Sequel?

Yes hi, hello 

A lot of people really want a sequel, I can see why; it's an open ending. Personally, I like where the story ended, but part of me does want to give you guys that closure of a closed ending. 

Well, I'm here to say that I'm still not sure if there will be a sequel.

I have ideas. I know what I want to have happened to Gabriel in the new world Adrien created and other changes to other characters like Jasmine and what happened to the miraculouses. However, my writing doesn't feel right. 

As I mentioned in the epilogue, this story was finished weeks before it was fully published. Meaning I had already started on ideas for a sequel and even started writing the sequel. But it doesn't feel right. It could just be that I'm currently facing writer's block. The same thing is happening with other stories I'm working with. 

I have considered just writing out one really long chapter as like a second epoligue to show what happened to the characters, but even that has proved to be difficult. 

I've written two chapters for the sequel and started a third, but like I said, it doesn't feel right. 

Now I don't want to leave you guys hanging so I've thought of a few solutions:

1. I enlist the help of some readers. What I mean by this is to have some of y'all read what I've written so you can go ahead and give me feedback on what you think and maybe even some directions the story can go into. I know some of y'all have been following this book since I first started, so I really value y'alls opinion.

2. I wait out my writer's block and see if I find the inspiration to write a full sequel.

3. I wait out my writer's block but instead of writing a sequel, I only write a second epilogue. 

Either way, I think I'll be taking a break from writing for a little bit. I'm moving in about two weeks so the rest of this month and the first half of September will probably be a bit hectic. 

I might start publishing other stories I've been working on so as to not leave you guys bored lol
