Prompt: Santana Elf
"Hurry up mummy!" You rushed to put on your coat and pick up your handbag. You ran out of the kitchen to see your three year old daughter, Dani, stood in front of the front door with her hands on her hips. You laughed at how cute she looked dressed in her Frozen coat, black skinny jeans, black boots, Frozen hat, gloves and scarf. "Right I'm ready." You said as you picked up her Frozen bag that was hooked to the handle of the front door. Dani held up her arms so you could put her backpack on her. You bent down and kissed the top of her head and she wrapped her arms around you. You unlocked the front door and stepped out of the door when Dani shouted "Mummy! Oalf!". She ran off down the hallway to her bedroom to get her Oalf teddy. "Got him?" You asked when she reached the door. "Yes mummy!".
You walked down the busy, crowded, snow filled streets of New York holding your beautiful daughters hand. "Are you excited to see Santa baby?" You asked Dani looking down at her. She looked up at you with the biggest smile plastered on her face and she excitedly shouted "YES!"
"What are you going to ask him for?" Dani smiled a cheeky smile up at you and placed he index finger to her sealed lips and giggled. "Shhh. It's a secret. Only Santa's supposed to know Mummy." You laughed and kissed her and carried on walking.
When you arrived at the MidTown Mall you joined the enormously long line of inpatient children and grumpy parents queueing to see Santa. Dani, still holding tight to your hand jumped up and down excitedly waiting to meet Santa. This was the first time you had taken her to see Santa and it had been quite a few years since you had met Santa yourself. You were ashamed to admit it but you were almost as excited as Dani was.
You had been stood in line for around 20 minutes and Dani had started to get tried so you picked her up and balanced her on your hip. She tooked her face into the crook of your neck as you began to sing to her. As you were swaying from side to side singing quietly in Dani's ear you laid eyes on the most beautiful women you had ever seen. She was dressed as an elf, an incredibly sexy one at that, with a very short green and red dress on, green and red stockings that reached just above her knees, red pointy shoes and a green and red hat placed gently on top of her head. She was stood in front of the door that led to Santa's Grotto, with her hands on her hips, just like Dani was stood this morning. Her brow was furrowed and she had an annoyed look on her face. She looked like the exact opposite of what an elf was supposed to look like. It clearly looked like she had been forced into doing this. She then turned her head and her dark chocolaty brown eyes met yours. The world stopped. The frown that was on her face disappeared and she smiled. Her smile was beautiful. Your mouth went dry as you tried to smile back. You all of a sudden you felt nervous. "Mummy? You ok? You stopped singing." The small voice broke you out of your thoughts and forced you to brake eye contact with the mysterious girl. "Yeah, sorry baby I'm fine." You replied. "Look we are nearly at the front! Are you ready to meet Santa baby?" When Dani saw that it was nearly her turn she instantly became excited again and you put her back on the fake snow covered ground.
It wasn't long before you were the next ones in to see Santa. The mysterious girl who you now learned was called Santana because one of the other elves called her to change places with them. Dani was tugging on your arm and jumping up and down when a male elf appeared from Santa's Grotto and lead you into meet Santa. Dani practically ran up to the doors dragging you behind her. The male elf explained that we had to wait with Santana before we could go in and meet Santa. As soon as he mentioned Santana your heart began to race and your mouth became dry again. "Come on Mummy!" Dani shouted back to you when she reached Santana. Both your eyes met again and she smiled that beautiful smile at you like she did before. "What would you like for Christmas then little girl?" Santana asked Dani bending down to her level. "Well...I would like an Elsa doll..."
"Hey you missy I thought that your Christmas list was a secret." You interrupted. Dani giggled and grinned at you. "It is. But I'm aloud to tell Santana elf because she's magical." You could see Santana smiling at the two of you. "So your saying that I'm not magical?" You said pretending to be hurt. Dani ran over to you and wrapped her arms around your legs. "You are magical but in a Mummy magical way. Santana elf is magical in an Santa magical way." Dani explained. When Dani said the word Mummy Santana's face dropped back into a frown, but it looked more like a confused frown than an annoyed frown. "Okay I understand sweetie. I love you." You placed a kiss on to Dani's head and she giggled. Santana's smile returned to her face. "Love you to Mummy!" She said and ran back to Santana. "Santana elf can I see Santa yet please?" Santana nodded and lead you through the huge decorated wooden doors into Santa's Grotto. Dani ran straight to Santa and he picked her up. You stood at the back next to Santana admiring your beautiful and wonderful daughter talk to Santa with one of the biggest grins you had ever seen on her face. "You've got an amazing daughter. You must be proud." Santana said turning to face you. "I am." You said without taking your eyes away from Dani. "So...what's your name?" Santana asked. You turned your head to face her. "Y/N." You introduced yourself holding out your hand for her to shake. "A beautiful name for a beautiful women. And I'm Santana." She replied and took your outstretched hand. You turned bright red and bowed your head so you weren't looking at her. As soon as her hand touched yours you felt an electric shock run through your body. You giggled and so did Santana which meant that she must of felt the same as you did. "Mummy!" Dani called and you reluctantly let go of Santana's hand and looked at your daughter. Can I have my photo taken please?" She asked politely. "Sure baby." You replied. "Can Santana elf be in it as well please?"
"Well you would have to ask her yourself then." Dani looked over at Santana who was smiling warmly at her. "Can you take a photo with us please Santana elf?" Santana smiled even bigger than before and said "Of course I will darling." You both walked over to where Dani and Santa sat and had your photo taken by the male elf that lead you in.
As you were exiting the Grotto and waiting for your picture to be printed Santana came over to you and asked if you ever wanted to meet up again. You said yes and suggested if she wanted to meet you in Starbucks just around the corner. She agreed and said her shift ended in 15 minutes so she could meet you both then.
You and Dani arrived at Starbucks and joined the end of the queue. You ordered a toffee nut latte for yourself and a small hot chocolate for Dani. As you were picking up your drinks Santana walked through the door. Your heartbeat started to increase as she came over to where you were stood. "Hey." You said shyly. You didn't know why but, all of a sudden you became shy. She smiled her beautiful toothy grin at you and replied "Hi."
"Hello Santana elf." Dani said and hugged Santana. She kind of froze and was slightly taken aback by Dani's sudden act of affection towards her. You giggled and Santana hugged Dani back. "Why are you not in your elf dress Santana elf?" Dani questioned. Santana paused and looked at you as if she wanted you to answer as she didn't know what to say. "Because..." You started trying to think of something quick that wouldn't revel the secret of Father Christmas. "...that's Santana's work clothes." Dani looked confused. "You know how Mummy works at the diner and she has to wear that funny looking red uniform..." Dani nodded. "...well Santana works as an elf so she has to wear her elf clothes, but when she's not working she wears normal clothes like you and me." Dani took all what you said in and nodded slowly. "Erm...ok. Are you still magical now though?" Santana giggled and your heart skipped a beat. "Of course I'm still magical!"
You, Santana and Dani sat in Starbucks for over an hour chatting. Well it was mostly Santana and Dani talking and you just sat there admiring both of them. It was amazing how they both got along so well. Dani had started to get tired after a while so she sat on your lap and curled herself around you and tucked her face in the crook of your neck. You then said that you had better get going as it was nearly Dani's bedtime. "So I will see you again then?" You asked Santana standing up. "Yeah, if you want to." You exchanged numbers and said your goodbyes. You didn't want to leave Santana, you wanted to stay with her and just talk and admire her beauty but you knew you had to go. "Text me when you both get home so I know that you are safe." She shouted. "Will do! Bye!" She replied!
You strolled down the busy and overcrowded street of New York with Dani on your shoulders. You smiled thinking about meeting Santana again and you got a tingling happy feeling inside. I wonder what will happen.
