Here's an informal intro to the story because it would be pretty rude to just toss you into chapter 1 with no background info.
Tay is the main character, she's a 20-year-old who has no idea what she desires in life. She manages a minimum wage job in hopes to establish her own business in the future. She comes from a picture-perfect upper-class family with both parents, younger sister, and a beautiful home. What more could a girl want right? However, Tay had plans of her own that didn't involve the blueprint her parents constructed of her life ever since she was developing in her mother uterus.
Jacob is a 21-year-old and is completely the opposite of Tay. Jacob always wanted to grow up to please his parents and follow in his father's footsteps. Go D1 football, be the best of the best, get a stunning snatched trophy-wife, and become the man that everybody adores. That's his version of success.
Total polar opposites right ? I know that you know what's gonna happen but I can assure you that that will not happen. Well majority of it won't happen.

Also whoever yall picture Tay out to be is completely your business. I was originally gonna go with Zendaya but I don't think much of the girlies and guys are prepared for the power that that holds.
