~Chapter 7~

I unpacked my stuff at my new home. I still can't believe it, my mum...dead. I sighed and slammed my body onto bed, my face buried straight into the pillow.

"Why...? Why does this have to happen? Why me...?"

I silently cried into the pillow as I muffled out the words. I wiped away my tears.

"Right, mum and dad would want me to stay strong! By all means...!"

I encouraged myself, but tears threatened to escape again. I tried holding back my tears, but to no avail, they had escaped. I cried into my pillow, secretly wanting someone to comfort me.

"I miss my caring parents so much, just what hope do I have left to live without them."

My words continued to be muffled out into the pillow, tears were absorbed across the surface of the pillow.

"Let it out, this is your chance (Y/N), nobody can see you now, they won't know you're this pathetic."

The words that came out my mouth couldn't be clearly heard by anyone, as it was disturbed by the wet surface below me. I continued crying as much as I wanted. Finally, the tears stopped, I smiled a bit. My stomach then began to growl.

"Guess crying made me hungry." I silently laughed at myself.

"Crying felt good for once." I said, munching on some (f/f) that was packed into my backpack.

I was silently enjoying my food when I heard my phone sending out notifications.

Deku
(Y/N), how are you feeling? I heard about what happened.

I was still munching on my food and ignored the text for a while. After I've finished, I went ahead and reply the text.

'I'm fine, thank you for worrying.' I typed.

Me and Deku chatted for a while when we agreed to meet each other. I asked All Might if I could hang out with him for a while, which he had granted permission on. He did notice that I was crying since my eyes were red and puffy, but he didn't ask about it. I went to Deku's house after showering, I wore that family shirt that my mum gave. As I reached in front of his house, I took a deep breath.

'Ding dong' The doorbell rang.

Deku came out and immediately pulled me into a hug. I was startled and shocked at first but quickly return the gesture to him. My face buried into his chest as tears wiggled out my eyes, absorbed into his t-shirt.

"Deku..."

We pulled away from the hug as I wiped my tears away, smiling at him. He sends me a soft smile in return and gestured me in, I nodded and head inside. I was greeted by Inko pulling me into a hug, she must've heard about it too. I decided to continue smiling and to not let tears overtake me this time, I had enough of crying, smiling is better. Deku then gestured me into his room, I followed. I laid down on his bed as if it was mine, pressing the button on the necklace once again to ease my mind. I was staring at the ceiling for a while, but then I started closing my eyes as I hummed the melody of the lullaby. Deku didn't complain, he knew I needed this.

"Deku-kun...thank you for being my friend." I said as soon as the lullaby finished.

"It's no problem, (Y/N)." Deku stated.

We were talking about stuff when Inko announced it was lunch time. We were having (f/f)[obviously don't pick a light snack like pocky or pringles for lunch].

"Hope it tastes just how you wanted it to, (Y/N)!" Inko cheered.

"Well, I just ate it...but, it's okay! I could never get tired of it!" I announced.
