Hey everybody! I just hit 50 views, so here's Chapter 5! I know, the last chapter was a bit strange, and the fight didn't make much sense, but it'll all work out, I promise! Thank you for reading and enjoy! Love ya xo

~~~Grace's P.O.V~~~
I somehow survive the weekend without any texts from Mikey. It's Monday, time for school.
I dress how I usually do, punk and I throw on my glasses, contacts are too much effort. It's too early to leave, so I sit on my window seat. I look out, worried about Mikey.
Liam comes into my room, still in his pajamas. His school doesn't start until after mine. He rubs his eyes and yawns. "Hey Liam. What's up?" He doesn't respond, but crawls into my lap and cuddles against my chest.
He's pretty much the cutest thing ever.
I stroke his hair, then I carry him into his room, and help him get dressed. I dress him in some jeans, a tee, and some adorable navy converse.
Truly my brother.
He runs downstairs to get breakfast while I grab a granola bar and head to the car. My mom is already waiting for me. I yell my goodbyes and get in.
She drops me off at school about 15 minutes before I need to be in class, so I head inside to the library.
Amy and her friends sneer at me as I walk by, but I just ignore them. I've actually made a few friends besides Mikey. An awesome girl named Miranda, who's a geek like me. There's also Drew, a girl who hates Amy as much as I do, and Greg. He's more punk, and refuses to wear any school merchandise.
We meet in the library at lunch and before school, mostly just to talk and hang out. I see them in one of the many back rooms, one with a huge couch and a love seat.
I collapse in the love seat, as they're all on the couch. Miranda asks where Mikey is. I shrug, and pull out a book. It's a new one called "Last Hope" (fake title). I read a page or two before the bell rings. I say goodbye and head to Math.
I hope this won't end badly.
~~~Mikey's P.O.V~~~
I've been in Math ever since the school opened. I got here as early as I could so I could avoid Grace and have time to put on a game face. When she arrives, I don't look up.
I know that I overreacted, but I'm not about to apologize with Ben the Meathead and his goons sitting right there.
She doesn't try to talk to me either.
The class seems to never end. And when the bell rings, I practically sprint out of the room.
Someone puts their hand on my shoulder. I turn, hoping its Grace, but it's just some girl. I think her name is Hannah? She's nice enough.
"Hey Mikey, you know, Homecoming is in a few weeks. I was wondering, if you don't have a date of course, if you would go with me?" My mouth falls open in shock.
Woah, I haven't even thought about this weekend, much less Homecoming next month.
"Um, I don't know, I-" I see Grace come out of the class,"I actually think I'm taken. Sorry Hannah." I tell her. She looks disappointed, but smiles quickly.
"Okay! No problem, but if it doesn't work out, I'd be happy to go with you." I manage to smile and nod before seeing Grace, who had heard what Hannah said.
She looked, I don't even know. Mad? Sad? Confused? Hurt? She just shakes her head and walks away.
I watch her until I realized I have two minutes to get to class. I barely make it, but I can't focus. Who can focus on Spanish anyway?
Señora Gomez informs us to randomly place our finger on a word in our textbook, and attempt to figure out what it means as a group.
There's chatter everywhere, so I look away and placed my finger. When I see my word, my shoulders droop. My word is Amor. (Love)
