White. The purest white. eclipsed my vision, as I soared. Boundless. Limitless. The laws that which govern nature can no longer bind me. I am free. Free from any government. Free from any nation. Free from those whom sought out my blessings for personal gain. Free from those whom saw me as a prophet sent Earth-ward from Heaven.

However, they will never be free from my hate and wrath. For the countless ways they sought me out for personal or religious gain. Only one is exampt from my feelings of loathe, my beloved Rachael. I was gifted wings and the ability of flight but she was the true angel. She loved me not for my wings but for me, as person. My heart could not take saying good bye in person, I fear it would've torn me in two. So I flapped my gargantuan wings and took flight early in the morning, around the same time that the sun arose as well. I pray that she can move on. I understand if she never forgives me nor do I want her forgiveness. Betrayal the likes of which I had done deserves no such gift.

I break through the endless white, and find myself gazing at a blue pearl with green scattered across. Blotches of light poke out from the green expanse of the pearl. Absent mindedly I reached out and felt a tugging from my heart. But I knew. It was too late. I must move on. I pulled my hand back to my sides and flew. Further, than I've ever flown before. I could feel it. The air was thinning, but I didn't stop. With a great flex of my wings I launched myself further into the outer reaches of Earth's atmosphere. Then it all came flooding in. The purest white I saw before was now gone. Replaced by the emptiness that is black. Then just like that, I let go, and much like the air around me that faded away as I got higher I too faded away.
