Maia had the amazing idea to ask Luke.
I didn't know Luke.
I mean, we've seen him around but never talked to him. He seemed grumpy. Being grumpy is a waste of time. Life is too pretty to be grumpy. Fight me.
We reached a bookstore, appearently Luke lived here, and we went inside.
Maia took over the talking.
I disappeared in the rows of books. So many precious stories. They just wait to be read by me. I need them all. ALL.
Being ripped out of my thoughts somebody lifted me up and carried me back to the others. It was Meliorn.
"We are trying to find your Parabatai. It's not time for book-shopping right now." He chuckled.
"Well, it's time for book-shopping somewhere, sprinkle." I let him carry me outside.
Luke decided to join us, greeting me. "You must be Lily."
"Positive. You must be Luke." I waved at him, Meliorn still holding me up by the waist.
"We need to go. As soon as I let her down, she'll be back with the books."
With that we (Simon, Alec, Jace, Meliorn, Maia, Magnus, CLARISSA, Luke and I) continued our journey.
