So we hurried into the abadoned building.

"I'm pretty sure she's in the basement. Lily, stay here. You can't fight... Wait, if I tell you something, you're going to do the opposite, am I right?" Raphael rolled his eyes.

"Indeed." I nodded and wanted to run down, but Raphael was faster and held me back.

"Okay, I'm going to wait here with the crackhead. You get her parabatai." He seemed annoyed. I struggled and tried to set me free from his grip but he was too strong.

Alec went down. Jace and the rest followed him, leaving Raphael and me behind.

"Dude, are you fucking kidding me? I set this whole thing in action! Let me fight for my parabapanda." Now I was angry too.

"The only thing that you do, is messing things up. You should not be a part of this world and you're incredibly annoying. But I won't let you die. You'll get to see her soon."

"Is protecting me of my death part of your accords? I'm not a mundane, in case you forgot." I struggled.

He sighed. "No, it's not. It's part of who I am. I don't want people to die. I..."

He couldn't come further. The kidnapper ran up the stairs. I bit Raphael into his arm so he let me go and kicked the kidnapper right into his... Well, you know.

Simple but efficient.
