Sara had put most of her life on hold after the events following the defeat of The Darkness. How could she go on with her life like everything was normal when her Guardian and best friend had suffered greatly after having to make the difficult decision to kill the man she loved in order to stop The Darkness from destroying the world. The months after Sara didn't care if she gave up everything in order to care for Lillian. She prayed day after day that Lillian would return to her former self but it was no use Lillian was in such a state of mind that there was little hope left. When Isadora had traveled from Rome to be here with her in New Haeven, Sara had been overjoyed to have her girlfriend's support. Calling Isadora her girlfriend was still something new and fresh for Sara but she liked it. When James had come to her about the idea of getting Ronin's soul back, at first she thought he was crazy and that this idea had stemmed from his grief of losing Ronin.

Maybe this was his own personal way of coping with Ronin's death, but the more he talked about it and the information he provided on it made Sara slowly start to come around and with all the truth in front of her, she knew it was real and could back him up on it. When she took him to see Lilian and tell her about it Sara instantly saw the change in her face, the light had returned to her and finally after all these hard months her best friend had found a purpose again, had found a meaning to live life and fight for the light. Now they were beginning their journey to bring Ronin's soul back. Right now three days had passed since they arrived in the realm of House Delacroix, they were still waiting on word if the young male witch had finished decoding the ancient text on the place in which the group would be traveling to retrieve Ronin's soul.

Sara was sitting on the grass of the castle's garden as she, Lillian and James were discussing the weird event that had happened to James a few nights ago, "So this young woman just started screaming at you, she like just appeared out of nowhere, shouting complete nonsense and disappeared into thin air like she had never been there to begin with" she watched James take a couple of fresh french fries from the plate in front of him, on the same plate was a cheeseburger. Each of them had the same meal as well, while these items were not normal traditional food of the witch Coven, when it came to being able to use magic to produce whatever was needed, they had gladly agreed to give their modern guests all the comforts of home, all they had to do was simply ask and the witches would provide them with it.

After James finished eating those couple of fries he retold Sara and Lillian the events that had taken place that night, "I couldn't sleep so I decided to clear my head and venture around the castle at the same time. Only myself and a handful of Royal Guards were up at that time of the night, I passed some on patrol during my wandering around of the castle grounds. When I reached the main courtyard there was this young woman standing there completely out of place, it wasn't until she spotted me that she started shouting to beware of something called Aurath. She kept shouting this same thing over and over again. What really struck me odd was she said this thing had 'the guardians soul..', even before more words could come out of James mouth Lillian interrupted him fairly quickly, "Could this witch have been talking about Ronin's soul?" Lillian whispered silently.

It broke Sara's heart to see the hope in her best friend and Guardians eyes, her quiet meek voice had been filled with hope as well. Sara knew how desperate Lillian was to find and get Ronin's soul, honestly they all were. While Sara hadn't been close with Ronin or knew him well, she knew how close he had been with Lillian and James and the deep history both of them shared with Ronin. So no matter the cost of getting Ronin's soul back Sara was willing to fight even if the cost was great, anything to get the person who meant everything to both Lillian and James.

It took a moment after Lillian's question for James to shrug his shoulders, "I don't know to be honest.. I am hopeful that she meant Ronin's soul but it could be another Guardian for all we know. I just wish she hadn't disappeared when the guards showed up otherwise I would have tried to ask her more information". James spoke, there was a small hint of disappointment in the tone of his voice, Sara reached over and put a hand on his shoulder hoping that she could provide even the smallest comfort to her twin brother. It still sounded odd to her to be calling James her twin brother, they really hadn't talked much about the subject since finding out about everything back in Rome.
