YERIM
"Get the dust off the shelf."
My great aunt threw me a feather duster, which due to my incompetence in catching things landed on the floor."Are you capable of anything ?", she grumbled.
"I'm have the talent to breath very well.", I replied gently. She raised the corners of her mouth briefly."Why do I have to clean at all if no soul enters this shop anyway ?"
I sneezed because of the fine dust."Just wait and be patient, later these ancient treasures will cost millions. By then I'll be dead, but smart people will enter the store today and secure their finances for their future.", she explained as she read the newspaper.
"Un Village, that were times."
[A / N: you will soon learn more about UN VILLAGE]"Well, then I'll clean the shop for the oh so smart people."
My great aunt looked up from her newspaper.
"That's a good attitude."
The ols lady smiled at me and went back to her newspaper. While cleaning up, I hummed a tune to myself. I don't know where I know it from, but I just knew it.
I sneezed alot while cleaning, because the dust flew in my nose.
Suddenly someone came in. I knew it because the old, gold bell was ringing over the door.
It was a middle-aged man who wanted to buy three records. Did he knew about the innovation of MP3 players ? I don't think so.
"Yeri will show you the department." Her hand pointed to me.
I put the feather duster away and, smiling, showed the gentleman the part where the records were.
He looked at the different Vinyl plates from different artists and took little time to find them. The man went to my great aunt, paid and left the shop.
"That was a very smart man," said my great aunt when the door was closed again. She held up the stack of banknotes and hid the bundle in the cash register.
"In a couple of years I'll get the double for that," she smiled. She is really greedy for money and loves to sell things, just to get money.
I was done wiping the dust away and cleaned up some objects here and there.
"Is there anything else I can do for you ?" I asked. The shaking of her head was the answer.
Out of boredom I looked around the shop and pretended to be a customer who had never been here before.
Porcelain glasses were on displayed in the glass case. The set of plates was right next to it.
I shuffled past the records and stopped at the old clocks. A wooden carved house stood on the dresser. Here you could hear the loud ticking of the clocks.
On the right side were dolls that are known from horror films. I took one out and ran through the doll's brown hair. Then I put her back in her place.
To the left was another chest of drawers with hand-painted dishes. Because I feared that I might break them, I didn't touch them.
I went on and found old games. Dust was covering a game board. Maybe I'll clean it up later.
There was a box in the corner that reached up to my knees. There was a big 'RR' printed on it and these letters somehow attracted me.
Out of curiosity, I opened the box and saw the same object in different variations.
They were guns. A blue, pink, yellow, green and a purple one.
I read the instructions and I liked this game on the first sentence alone already.
A smile formed on my lips.
I have an idea and the only thing that comes to my mind is Revenge.
