Courting.

I can't believe that thing still exists in this era. I am not really a fan of that, truth be told, I mean.. I don't like the idea of men putting their best foot forward to get a girl but on the second thought maybe it depends how a man courts you, no?

I just felt his sincerity in courting me.. and it's just so reassuring.

I told him the kind of pursuing I want. Show me how you'll treat me until the end not how you can get my 'yes'.

It's also a relief na pumayag siya to keep everything private first. I don't want anyone to know not until I am really sure I can take the relationship he's offering.

He's very cooperative tho. So far, walang nakakapansin samin.

"It's Saturday tomorrow, why are we even here?" Cyclone frowned. I gave no response as I watched Ansel. She's on her phone again. I can't even read her unlike before. She's been so distant lately.

It's quite bothering..

"And man, why are you still studying?" Cy's eyes turned on me.

"Mind your business, Cyclone." His twin blinked at him in disbelief before giving me a look.

We're sharing one table since medyo puno ang Tim's. It should be a rest day today until tomorrow pero nakasanayan na ata namin tuwing gabi sa coffee shop kaya parang automatic na yong katawan namin na pumunta dito.

"You people study too much." he said instead, shaking his head. "You should try flirting sometimes," he grinned.

My face remained deadpanned but Hurricane choke on his spit! He can't even act, guard.

"Woah, what's with the reaction?"

"Nothing, dumbass."

"Fool me. Who's the chick?"

"Ada, maybe."

Agad nakatanggap ng batok si Hurricane kay Cyclone. Nailing nalang ako bago tinawag si Ansel but she was too busy on her phone. Kaya hinayaan ko na lamang

Cy stood up to order another coffee, napabalik naman ang tingin ko kay Hurrican when he slid a piece of paper.

He just wiggled his brows while grinning before looking down at his codal again. I reached for the paper he torn from his notebook and opened it from its fold.

Saturday or Sunday?

I looked up at him again, he's smiling widely while his eyes' still on his codal. I wonder if nag-aaral ba talaga siya.

Pasimple akong nag-sulat pabalik. I gently tapped his feet under the table to get his attention as I carefully slid back the paper.

I glanced, waiting for his reaction. And I wasn't disappointed when he bit his lips before covering it with his hands. He looked at me playfully before giving a wink. Mabilis lang pero malakas ang epekto sakin. Tsk!

Then another paper arrived. I looked at Cyclone who's now talking to Ansel before opening the folded paper, half-day or whole day?

I cleared my throat to stop myself from smiling like an idiot. But heck, I can feel my whole face burning! I looked at Hurricane. If ayaw niyang mabuking kami dito then he should stop smiling that wide!
