kurapika's thoughts

it's been about 3 years since kurapika met gon , killua and leorio . and they have been somehow thinking of eachother

—————kurapika's P.O.V—————————————
' i wonder how everyone else is doing , perhaps i should meet up with leorio at least since i have no idea what gon and killua are up too ' - kurapika mumbled to himself . leorio .. i really hope he's okay , he must be almost done with his studying to become a doctor' kurapika , what's going through your head , were you talking to yourself ? ' melody asked politely , snapping kurapika out of his thoughts . ' oh yes melody , i didn't think anyone was listening ' melody gently smiled at him , ' well kurapika , perhaps convince ms.neon to give you a day off . you gotta focus on your happiness and health once in a while ' kurapika blinked in confusion , letting the words wash over him.

' well melody , perhaps you're right . as usual ' he laughed softly , and melody joined in with him aswell . melody is so helpful , i'm grateful that she helped me remain sane over these years , i owe her so much by now . i'll make it up to her but like she said , i must focus on myself for now .

   surprisingly, it was easier than kurapika thought . neon didn't have a fit , in fact , she was in a very good mood that day . kurapika sighed , thinking again i'm glad ms . neon didn't throw a fit or else i wouldn't have gone . well i guess i should take advantage of this and pack up my stuff already . ' ms . neon ? ' kurapika asked politely . ' yesss ?? ' neon said , swaying side to side on her bed , happily . ' how many days am i allowed to take off ? ' now that stopped the boss , kurapika thought curiously ,  wondering what her answer would be . ' hmmmmm , well you've worked for me soo lonnggg , so i'll be generous and give you two months . is that enough ? ' neon said smiling as if she were a kid . two months ? 8 weeks with leorio , killua and gon .. that's something surprising , i thought i'd get atleast 2 weeks .. wow .. kurapika thought ' so , two months ? really ? ' he heard himself say to the boss . ' yes kurapika , you really deserve it . i bet you haven't seen your friends in months , perhaps years . and you've never asked anything from me so this is my thank you to you ' , she grinned . ' thank you boss , i really am grateful.
