For a moment prince's heart rate slowed. He hoped she would say yes. He needed the time with her and the fact that she didn't have a regular 9 to 5 job that would call her back to Houston right away is something that he was hoping to use to his advantage. Plus he wasn't due to go back on tour for a few weeks , so now was the perfect time. He could see the shock look on her face ,but he wasn't surprised he did just ask her a big question, he was on pins and needles waiting for her response . " I will have everything covered, you won't have to spend a penny"
he added, the double shock look on her face said that she wasn't expecting him to say that. Then Prince got quite as he saw that she was about to give her answer. " Well, this is my first time in Minneapolis, and I would love to see more of it" she said. Prince was relieved, she might be saying yes. Then she said something that he wasn't expecting. " I almost came here when you had a show here a few years ago, but my friend needed me in a difficult time and I wasn't able to come". Prince smiled " So you do listen to my music". She blushed. " Well, I didn't want to
come off as a fan, because I know you hate what that stands for, but I had a cousin that had been into your music since your first album, she got me into your music". It was then that Prince was thankful for cousins. He put on his best little boy smile. "So does that mean that's a yes?" he asked. She smiled and his heart flipped. " That's a yes, I got all the things with me for my business so that shouldn't be a problem " she said. " Great, is a week okay? " Prince asked. " A week is fine, you really want me to stay longer?" she asked. Prince didn't hesitate for a moment . " I really do" he said.
Meanwhile , back at your hotel .
"You what?!" your cousin Linda said on the other line. " I ' am staying in Minneapolis for a week" you repeated . " Did you have a unplanned vacation? " she asked. " No, I've been asked to stay" you said. " Wait, why you out there in the first place?, what are you not telling me?" she asked. " I'll explain to you later, I promise" you said. " Wait, did you meet someone?" she asked . It was then that you was glad that she wasn't the cousin that introduced you to prince music or she might caught on to something . " We will talk later" you said trying not to farther the questioning.
" You did!, I want a invitation to the wedding!" she said with delight. " We will talk later cuz, love ya ,bye" you said . "Oh believe me, we going talk, bye" she said hanging up. You plop back on the bed. Your cousin was already planning on going to a wedding, he just wanted to show you around Minneapolis, plus this was Prince, he could have any woman he wanted, why you?, although you did wonder why he wanted you to stay a while. You gave a deep sigh, one thing you did leave out about the story about your cousin introducing you to his music is the countless
battles between you two about who was going meet him and be with him. Your cousin would flip if she knew what was going on. Suddenly there is a knock on your door. " Who is it?" you ask. " Tim from jake's designer dresses, I was sent by a Mr. Bravestrong" he said. " Bravestrong?, isn't that one of Prince's alias?. You open the door and see a man with a whole rack of dresses.
