Who Knew?

Nicholas POV

When I walked in school with some of my pack behind me i smelt the most delicious smell in my life, It smelled sweet and homey like Christmas cookies with a hint of spicy.

"Hey, do you smell that?" I asked them.

"No," they all answered together.

I could feel my wolf getting antsy, I wonder what's his problem, probably worried about rogues or something.

It's yor mate you smell dumbass, my wolf told me.

Well i guess that was kind of dumb to forget that when you smell that scent that really appeals to you that it's your mate. Well I gotta find her but the bell had rang so i guess i'll have to wait to lunch or something.

I walked into my English class about 10 minutes late. I looked for a seat and found one behind a girl with beautiful brown hair, big colored eyes that i could see the exact color even with my wolf senses. I went to sit behind her and smelled the same smell i smelled in the hallway, Mate.

I've finally found her, the Luna of my pack, the one to carry my children, my mate.

I went to sit behind her and whispered, "hey" in her ear and then I saw that she shivered and, I chuckled, I was happy that she was so sensitive and responsive to me.

She responded with a timide, "hi"

I just told her that i wanted see her later on and didn't say anything else but i was content just to be around her, i swear if i got to smell her scent all day i could be happy. She rushed out of class as soon as the bell rang and i went to follow her to get her name. I saw her at her locker and went to lean against the one beside hers, "hey, we meet again." I said to her.

"Um hi, well I gotta go to class, see ya." She tried to rush off but i was on a mission to get her name.

"I never got your name."

"It's D-Desiree" She stuttered, i thought she sounded cute nervous, I wonder if she knows she's blushing, for some reason it really exciting me to see that. I tried on my lips and said i like it, I think the name fitted her perfectly because i desired her badly. I told her my name and she complimented it, for some reason i really valued it, I never really cared of people's opinions of me but her meant the world. Wow, I'm starting to mushy and, I've only known her for about an hour, she's going to have me wrapped around her finger before she knows it.

The warning bell went off and she told me something before running off to class and leaving me threre, alone.

 Then Ryan, my beta, came out of no where, "Hey, whats up"

"Ugh, nothing." I answered vaguely, I was thinking about my Desiree.

"Are you okay you seem kind of out of it- Oh my gosh!"

"What, what is it?"

"You found her, you totally found your mate!"

"How'd you know?"

"I knew it, Oh well I'm your best friend how could i not know, I may not have found mine yet but i know the signs."

"Well i talk to you about this later i gotta get to class"

I went to second period and, was disappointed that she wasn't there but some of my pack mates were there. I sat by Rick, Daniel, and Josh, the well-known triplets of the pack. I guess they noticed my long face.

'hey what's up man you look more serious then usual' Josh said in the pack link

I guess i might as well tell him everyone's going to figure it out sooner or later, 'I found my mate'
