NOONA [15]

"What are you doing?"

Jimin accidentally dropped the box he was holding when he heard Yoonji ask from behind him. Quickly picking it up, setting it where it was before and acting like nothing happened, Jimin sheepishly smiled before backing away from the desk where the box was originally sitting on.

"Look, I work for my brother but you don't want to touch his belongings."

And if you weren't a person who I'm supposed to protect, you would be sitting in that bed bathing in your own blood.

Yoonji decided not to say that since she didn't want to tell Jimin the story behind that...wedding ring that's on top of her desk. It was...confidential.

"You work for the Chief?"

Yeah I work for myself.

Yoonji decided to keep her mouth shut and just hurried downstairs to have their breakfast. As both of them go downstairs and walk to the kitchen, Yoonji noticed Jimin staring at her.

Oh crap.

Yoonji looked at Jimin and raised her eyebrow, basically questioning all the staring she has been recieving from the younger. Jimin asks.

"Yoonji..."

"Yeah?"

"Am I annoying?"

Eyebrows furrowing, Yoonji looked at Jimin in confusion. The younger faintly smiled at her before waving his hand, almost as if saying 'nevermind'. Yoonji shrugged it off and continued eating.

________

.
.
.
.

It has been 4 weeks, and boy was Yoonji tired of this treatment. Jimin has been ignoring her for weeks already, and she was sick of it.

Out with the point, just say it.

She's annoyed. That's it.

The younger has been silent, too silent for her taste. He has been avoiding her and not speaking to her, she even asked Hoseok on what was up with his best friend but he knew nothing.

What was up with him?

She was searching for the younger because school was over, Yoonji did nothing but sit in class, tap her pen to the table, impatiently waiting for the class to dismiss.

Yoonji had no classes with Jimin, because in her "identity" she was 18, and Jimin was 17, it was natural for them to be one grade year apart from each other. She still had to keep an eye on him, since she was scared that the younger would get harmed.

Hearing the sound of bickering near the school's pool, Yoonji got out of the indoor pool building and peeked at the outside.

"Yeah beat him up!"

"Noona is mine!"

Various laughter were heard, clearly from a crowd of people. Yoonji sneaks up and hides in the bushes to clearly see what was happening. She couldn't just go in the scene and risk being involved in a fight, it would harm her disguise too much.

"You pathetic little boy."

Hearing a strangled yelp that was bit too familiar for her, Yoonji sneaked closer to see who the four boys were beating up.

Jimin?

The fuck?

The younger was helplessly trying to protect himself from the kicks by his hands, his arms littered with bruises and his left cheek clearly showing that it was punched by somebody.

No wonder he has been wearing hoodies and sweaters this past weeks, regardless of the weather.

Yoonji steps in, she couldn't tolerate this. Grabbing one boy who had rumors going around, the other students saying he liked Yoonji, she pins him to the wall, almost the same way she did with Jimin outside the Police Station.

The both of them smirked as Yoonji leans in to kiss him in the lips.

In his dreams.

The boy was closing his eyes, eyes fluttering shut, but just before Yoonji's lips has touched his, Yoonji used her knee to hit his crotch area, resulting for his mouth to let a scream out, and alerting the three other boys right near both of them.

The boy fell to the ground before yelling at his allies...

"What are you all doing?! Attack her!"

The remaining boys hesitated on even stepping an inch closer to Yoonji, but did it anyway. Yoonji stood protectively in front of Jimin who was close to passing out behind her, still whimpering as he tried to conceal the pained expression that naturally comes to him when he moves even a single inch, looking mischieviously at the three boys in front of her.

"Come at me, bitches!"

One of the boys lunged towards her, attempting to throw a punch.

This is not your day honey.

Yoonji simply dodged the punch and encouraged the other two to fight her. Both of them raised their foot, trying to kick Yoonji and sweep her off her feet. However, due to her fast reflexes, Yoonji grabbed both of their shoes and raised them higher, eventually making the two boys fall down.

The boy who threw, well tried to, a punch at Yoonji earlier pounced on her once again, this time Yoonji actually grabbed his fist and twisted it, making both of them fall to the ground. Yoonji sat on his back while still having a tight grip on his arm, then began twisting it, sending large waves of pain to the boy.

Standing up while puttung pressure on the boy's twisted hand with her foot below him, Yoonji kicked the face of the boy he pinned to the wall earlier.

"I can kick you even if i'm wearing this stupid ass skirt!"

Poor thing.

"That's all?"

Yoonji sighed before letting all of them go. She couldn't afford getting in trouble and accidentally break other students' bones so...

With a limp arm, the boy stood up and started running, his three...I guess we can call them friends following behind him. Yoonji looked over her shoulder, and almost instantly, her sharp glare turned into a more softer and more gentle stare when she saw Jimin shivering on the ground.

Kneeling down to have a closer look at the younger, she noticed that there was a bit of blood staining his cheeks. He was flinching every time a finger was layed down on him, and was still covering himself with his arms.

"Shh, it's me, it's me."

Reassuring the younger while grabbing a towel from her bag, she helped Jimin stand up and she wiped his face clean.

"T-They said I s-should stay away from you or th-they will beat m-me up...I'm s-sorry..."

The younger's voice was filled with cracks and he was sniffling from time to time, looking at Yoonji straight in the eyes as tears start on piling up.

Yoonji grabbed both of his shoulders...

"It's okay Jimin, it's not your fault."

Yoonji showed him her gummy smile, then pulled him to a hug, this time with her initiating it, and for the first time in his life...

He felt safe in somebody's arms.
