"Jimin!"

Yoonji called out to the younger. They weren't out of the school's premises, no they weren't. They were nearly out though, Jimin was like a multiple steps away from the school gate.

Jimin froze in his spot, but he didn't bother turning his head back. Yoonji on the other hand, was now panting. She had to run from the Gymnasium to the school gate, and you guys have no idea how long that actually is.

"What."

The question came out as a sentence when Jimin blurted it out. The younger wasn't facing Yoonji, but she was pretty sure that Jimin had a stern face, maybe because he sounded serious, which was kind of unsual. Jimin never becomes so serious about anything at all. I mean he does, but it's rare.

Letting Yoonji catch up on him, Jimin stayed on his spot without moving an inch, as if his shoes were glued to the ground.

Teachers were one by one making their way out of the school premises. It was already 5 PM, so it was reasonable for them to leave already. Some of them were glancing at the two figures just standing near the school gate (Yoonji and Jimin), but the two didn't actually mind and they had their own worlds right now.

"Are you avoiding me?"

"No. I'm practicing social distancing."

That was a joke, stay safe kids, wash your hands and distance yourself from others.

Okay back to the story.

"No, what makes you think that?"

Jimin eyed her down, practically looking like he was judging her entire existence. Yoonji rolled her eyes. Jimin literally just left her hanging in the Gymnasium without a word, how is that not avoiding her?

"Uhh, you kind of just left me in the Gynasium and not say a word, considered avoiding."

Yoonji pointed out. Jimin faced her now, sighing loudly before grabbing both of her shoulders and looking at her straight in the eyes.

"I need a break, okay?"

A break? From what though?

"You keep on sending me signs that you like me too but you just shove the reality onto my face afterwards. Is this what you want? Huh? For me to get all confused and fucked up?"

Yoonji stares at him in silence.

"Answer me Yoonji!"

Jimin shakes Yoonji's figure when she was left speechless. She couldn't say anything. She had no idea that the younger felt this way. The pain and sadness from just Jimin's voice was also hurting her, she couldn't even bring herself to lock eyes with him.

"Answer me Yoonji! Why are you treating me like this?! I'm weak for you and you know that! Am I just a toy for you to play with? Are you just messing with me? Because it's hurting me a lot!

My head is full of unhappy thoughts, my heart is breaking. Why the fuck are you doing this to me?!"

Every word was enunciated with mixed anger and sadness, and Yoonji could sense that, clearly.

She was still out of words. She wanted to say sorry, and hug Jimin, but her throat was tight and she couldn't speak, as if she lot her ability to. She was glued to her spot, her limbs were also frozen. She just wanted the ground to suck her up right now more than anything.

"You're not going to answer?"

Jimin scoffed at her before letting go. He simply left once again without saying a word, just like he did earlier. He had his hands shoved to his pockets, hiding the fact that they were clutching his inner pocket, holding his urge to cry right then and there. Taking sharp breaths, Jimin walked away from the girl. Yoonji stayed there, getting judging stares from the teachers and the other school staff members, not really giving a fuck about them, because her eyes were literally following Jimin.

"No, I'm not going to fuck up this time."

Yoonji whispers to herself before she gathers every single bit of courage she still has in her body, and even letting down her pride, yes, that's how important Jimin is to her now. She's not gonna fuck this up, that can't happen, no no no nO.

Catching up to Jimin by running fast, she spins the younger, making him face her once again.

"What the fuck do you want?! Leave me alo-"

Jimin's words got cut off when Yoonji wraps her arms around him, leaning close to capture him in a loving kiss.

Both of them were enjoying it, though Yoonji wouldn't like to show that to Jimin. When she pulled back, the younger looked dazed. It was like a big wave of happiness and euphoria just swept over him and he couldn't believe what the hell just happened.

Should he react? Probably.

Was he going to do that? Maybe not.

"Listen to me, Jimin. I didn't know you felt like that. I'm sorry. If I ever make you feel that way again, or even say anything harsh to you, tell me about it immediately. I was born this way, Chim. My mouth doesn't have a filter and I tend to spit out anything that comes to my mind."

What Yoonji said wasn't totally a lie. She's had a sharp tongue since she was a kid, it just got worse as she grew up, to the point that she says things that she doesn't even mean. She hates and likes it though, she hates it because she ends up hurting sensitive people like Jimin, but likes it because her thoughts are always spoken.

"And don't like this means that I like you too. I was doing it to make you shut up, we were causing a scene, and look to your right."

To their right, a familiar figure stood, kind of far away, but still in their line of vision.

She had a stern face but a familiar glint of amusement in her eyes while looking at them.

Elle.

The school nurse.

Not really caring or giving a fuck about that school nurse, Jimin looks at Yoonji again, the other following soon after.

It was okay, even if it meant nothing, that's how whipped Jimin was for the older, yes.

Gosh he's so whipped.

Okay I need to get back to the point.

Yoonji glances at Jimin, who was still looking at her dead in the eye. She giggles before stating why the hell she did what she just did earlier.

"Okay, that was just my birthday gift. Happy birthday, Chim. Don't think I forgot."

Yoonji smiled at him before engulfing him a hug, and at that exact moment, Jimin felt happy, he was confused, yes, he was also really annoyed because he knows that the kiss meant nothing to the girl who was hugging him right now.

But he felt contented, finally, he found the person he loves.

this was originally very short, i edited it more and more (stream more and more by twice thanks) then it got longer, still kinda short but at least not as short as it originally was.
