Welcome to Chapter 5!
I post on the conversations tab quite often, so if you want to keep up with release dates or participate in chapter ideas, follow me to
be notified! <3

So I've had this chapter done since last Saturday but I didn't want to make you wait till Sunday so I've decided to release it early! I wasn't sure whether to name this chapter, "So it would seem" or "he's got to be the best pirate I've ever seen." But I settled on the second one. Anyways, there is a really good scene here, it's quick but...damn it's good. So enjoy!

< I do NOT own Pirates of The Caribbean. Majority of script and storyline credit goes to original creators. The dialogue isn't an exact copy of the original movie script, however it's similar. Basic storyline credit goes to the original writers as well, it has however been altered quite drastically. I do not claim to own all the characters. A few of them are my own but majority of them are the original creators! This is a fanfiction! Thank you >

~ Docks ~

Jack eyes out a ship. 'The Jolly Mon'. It's small and a tad rundown, water in the hull, creaking and quite almost submerged.

"Ah! Now there is a lovely sight!" Jack exclaims, hopping into the ship...which is actually...more like a boat.

Jack goes on rambling about honest men being slaves and unpredictable.

Suddenly he stops, looking at Will.

"Come aboard, you don't need permission." Jack states with a careful laugh.

"I haven't set foot off dry land since I was 12, when the ship that I was on exploded."

Jack looks at him. One could even say his expression was understanding and kind.

"It's been a sound policy." Will says, his expression suddenly breaking into a smile as he humorously regards the "boat."

He gestures his hand to the boat almost like a salute. He is trying to sound sad and solem.

Jack's expression changes and he laughs.

"No worries there mate, she's more likely to rot out from under us." He replies with a chuckle at Will's sarcastic dry humour.

Will is the one laughing now. You roll your eyes at the two of them, even though it was pretty funny.

"Get in, let's go." You usher Will towards the ship.

Will, who is clearly feeling playful, steps into the boat like it will capsize under the smallest breath of wind.

Jack snorts and leans back, arms placed behind his head.

"Besides, we are about to better our prospects considerably." He nods his head towards the Dauntless.

"We are going to steal a ship? That ship?" Will asks almost panicked.

"Commandeer. Commandeer a ship, nautical term. It's worth it to sail in style." Jack adds with a grin.

"It's against the law!" Will protests.

"So is breaking a man out of jail. Face it, Will. You may say you'll never be a pirate, but you are off to a rip roaring start!" Jack exclaims proudly.

He smiles at him shifting to get comfortable.

"My advice, smile and enjoy it." Jack adds with a wink.

Will looks at Jack, those were some pretty wise words. Will breaks out into a smile and looks down.

"Y/n? You coming?" Will asks you.

"Yes."

"What's wrong?" Will frowns, going into big brother protective mode.

"Father always told me to stay away from the ocean." You reply worriedly. "I don't know why but what if it's a good reason?"
