Hey! Welcome back! You will notice that I changed the book cover! It's pretty much the same, just an updated font, with a credit to myself!

Ah yes. It's about time. The iconic line "Treasure isn't always silver and gold, mate." Is coming soon! Also the kiss scene is in this chapter! I know! It took me 9 whole chapters but we are finally here! FINALLY!
Believe it or not I wrote half of this in a bubble tea shop 🧋

Please read this ⬇️⚠️❗️
Okay anyways back to me talking about this chapter. As 2020 comes to a close, I realise that I have in fact almost written through the whole first movie, which I never thought I would do, or even, COULD do.

I would love to continue the story throughout the remaining movies if you'd let me. I won't do it without there being any demand, so if you would like to see this continue to the next movie, please drop a comment and let me know! I'm also open to ideas so if there's anything I can include in the story, let me know.

I've already worked out how to go around certain obstacles which include other women with Jack Sparrow and times you guys will be apart. It will have a solid closed good ending though.

I think writing at a tea shop helps me relax and brings out my creative side, as well as that I've been doing a lot of sketching and watercolour lately (since art is a prominent hobby of mine) and I think I've hit a creativity spark. As a result, you'll see quite a lot of descriptive language, as, like, not sexually descriptive language, so please don't worry about that, if you are an asexual individual, or just aren't here for that kind of thirst. You will see what I'm talking about when you read it.

This chapter is a bit longer, over 3K words so, yeah. I almost named this chapter Chapter 9 ~ No- I'm rescuing you. But I preferred More than Anything. I think it's way more fitting and a little more romantic and a little deep.
So here it is, Chapter 9 ~ More than Anything.

~ Isla De Muerta, Caves, Night ~

The flicker of the lantern illuminates the rocky walls of the cave. A group of pirates stoop to the ground to enter a cavern.

What is revealed can only be described as a pirate's dream. Stacks, piles, mountains of shiny coins, solid ingots of gold and silver stacked to the ceiling of the cavern. Jewellery, jade and ivory, bright silks, jewels, pearls, the finest swords with their blades sharp and pristine, mirrors that somehow made you feel 20 times more attractive simply because of the pure price of the frame. Like I said, a pirate's dream.

Elizabeth is in awe, and swallowed by curiosity, she can't help but ask-

"The curse drove you...to gather this?"

Barbossa takes note of this.

"Aye. Not a bit of it any use to us, only hoarded, but it will drive us no longer."

Elizabeth pauses, looking at herself in a jewel encrusted mirror, dusty with age, yet as clear as day, still shining.

With a glance back she is shuffled along by the rest of the group.

~ Isla De Muerta, Lagoon, Night ~

The Interceptor floats gracefully on the water surface, anchored. Closer to eye view, Will, Jack and you are rowing a small longboat to the rocky ragged shore.

The rush of the waterfall in the distance is invigorating. The only thing swallowing the perfect evening was the heaving dark cave mouth of Isla De Muerta. The cave entrance was at water level, the sound of water plummeting down into the depths of the cave, what it held is unknown.
