Transported onto the enterprise?! (A Star Trek FanFiction)

"Huh...?" I woke up to blurring sparkly lights around me. Then I fell onto the hard floor. "Where am I?" I asked opening my eyes to reveal the bridge of the starship enterprise.

"You are on the U.S.S enterprise, and who may you be?" A familiar voice asked.

"Oh, I'm Cara Keegan, and you are James T. Kirk I presume." I said, the only things I remembered were my name, age, and the names of these people around me.

"Hello, Cara. A couple questions, first, why are you here, and second, how do you know my name?" I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"I don't know why I'm here... and your name.... uh, I can't remember...." I crashed to the ground and passed out. The next thing I remember is waking up on a bio-bed. I was conscious but I didn't open my eyes.

"She has a severe concussion Jim!! Give her some rest!!"

"No! I need answers, wake her up!" I opened my eyes and interrupted.

"No need, I'm awake." McCoy came rushing over but I put up a hand in dismissal. "I'm alright, really!" He gave up and sat down to listen.

"How old are you?" I could answer that one.

"I'm eight. I think." He nodded and moved on.

"Are you a human?" I thought for a minute before responding.

"I think so..." McCoy nodded.

"Yeah, she's human." Kirk looked over to Bones and then continued the interrogation. I didn't know the answers to the rest of the questions so he claimed that I was not dangerous to the crew as of yet.

"Where will I stay?" I asked curiously.

"You could stay in one of the empty guest rooms." Kirk said looking at Bones to approve of his decision. Of course, he didn't because it was a bad idea.

"No, she's too young and doesn't remember anything, it must be scary, if not traumatizing, as it is. She could stay with me." Kirk nodded and then looked at my puppy dog eyes.

"C-can I stay with McCoy.....p-please!!" He blinked a few times and then nodded.

"Yeah, I guess it makes sense." I looked at him in glee and hugged him.

"Thank you!!!" I then went over to McCoy and hugged him too. "And thank you too!!"

"No problem kid." He said grumpily but I saw that hidden smile!

After that, Kirk left to the bridge and I stayed and watched quietly as Bones finished his paper work.

"Aren't you bored, kid?" I shook my head.

"Nope! Watching you fill out medical diagnosis papers is very interesting!! I can see why you had trouble with that one, Spock's heart is in a much different place from ours." I said pointing at a certain paper in the cluttered mess.

"How did you know that was Spock's you haven't even formally met him!" I shook my head again.

"Sorry, but, I don't remember. Also, have I informally met him?"

He looked spooked and said, "Well, shit......Yeah he came to see you multiple times while you were asleep, but he told me to keep it confidential." I nodded and then winked as to say, "Your secret is safe with me!"
